Seventh Heaven, Al Barari
Some homes are put together so well that you sort of slow down when you walk through the door and just have to take it all in. This one bedroom apartment in Seventh Heaven at Al Barari feels like that kind of place. There is a sense of space that just lets you breathe a little deeper. I remember stepping inside and just pausing for a moment because the first thing you feel is this calm. Maybe it is the way the natural light fills the whole room from those floor to ceiling windows. Maybe it is something about looking out and seeing so much greenery you forget you are in Dubai.
This apartment is honestly bigger than most one bedrooms I have seen. With about 1985 square feet, there is actual room to live. The living area does not just work for one or two people watching TV. If you wanted to have friends over or set up a real working from home space, it would actually fit. You can move around in here and nothing feels tight or forced. The open kitchen is the kind of space you notice right away because it is not just placed there to fill a corner. It wraps around and it feels like somewhere you can really get into cooking if you want. All the Miele appliances are built in. Even if you do not cook much, it is just easy to imagine fixing breakfast here and then stepping straight out onto the terrace. The kitchen even has one of those teppanyaki grills so if you ever want to get a little fancy on a weekend, you can.
The huge terrace really is one of the standouts. About 505 square feet just outside your living room. I stood there for a bit and watched the sunlight catch on the leaves below. The green belts and waterways of Al Barari just open out in front of you, and then off in the distance, you get the Dubai skylineโso you get this strange but really nice mix of nature and city at the same time. If you like outdoor living at all, you will probably find yourself out here every morning. I could see someone setting up a yoga mat or just having coffee and not being in a rush. Evenings get quiet, and sometimes you notice birds or maybe kids cycling through the walkways below.
The bedroom just continues the same gentle feel. Not oversized, but it fits in a way that does not waste space. En suite bathroom is there, and there is a built in closet so you do not need to add any extras. The storage room is actually practical, which means you can keep your bike or cases out of the way and still have your living space clean. The apartment is unfurnished, so you can really let it become your style without working around someone else's taste.
What I also like about Seventh Heaven is how life feels easy here. About fifty five retail outlets are on site, so coffee shops and Waitrose are literally downstairs. You forget how much you save on errands until you live in a place where you just step out the lift and pick up groceries or meet a friend for lunch. There is a gym and the kind of pool where you can actually do laps if you want, plus a jacuzzi and spa if you are more about relaxing. Evenings tend to be relaxed, people walking or jogging, and it all feels a bit less rushed than other parts of the city.
Al Barari itself is probably the greenest pocket of Dubai you will ever find. Lots of people here just say it feels like being somewhere else entirely. You get privacy and greenery and it is still maybe eighteen minutes from Downtown or twenty if you are heading to Dubai Marina. There is really nothing quite like it for someone who wants peace but does not want to be far out.
Honestly, the only way to know if this one catches the right feeling for you is to come and walk through it yourself.
