MINA by Azizi, Palm Jumeirah
Some places just let you breathe out and feel at home the second you open the door. That is the thing I kept thinking about when I walked into this one bedroom apartment at MINA by Azizi, right on the eastern crescent of Palm Jumeirah. You catch the morning light pouring in through the tall glass doors and you just kind of stop for a minute and take it all in. There is the Arabian Gulf stretching as far as you can see and those iconic Palm views that people from all over the world dream about. I ended up just standing by the window for a while and even caught a glimpse of Atlantis. It is easy to forget how close you are to everything because it just feels peaceful up here.
The apartment itself is on one of the higher floors so you get that extra bit of quiet that you maybe do not appreciate fully until you live in a busy city like Dubai. Everything is set up for comfort here. You have got a fully equipped kitchenette that actually feels pretty inviting if you like to cook for real. I know kitchens in these places can sometimes feel a bit too shiny and not very practical, but this one just works. It is bright and open and you can hear the sea breeze if you crack a window. The bathroom is honestly a little sanctuary. Spacious, with a walk in closet tucked just right by the side, so it is easy to get ready and leave things out without feeling cluttered. The bathtub is deep enough that you can properly unwind with a book after a long weekday.
People always talk about balconies in Dubai and sometimes they just get ignored after a while, but this one is different. You walk out there and the sea breeze just hits you. You can see the blue of the water meet the sky and Dubai fades out for a second. Evenings are probably best, just sitting quietly with a cup of coffee or maybe watching the sun drop down behind the Palm. Sound travels a little less up here so you might hear birds or just the wind. It is that kind of spot where you can really pause.
Living at MINA by Azizi means you are tucked away in your own world but still everything is close enough when you want it. The building comes with a private beach which, honestly, makes for slow Sunday mornings or those days when you just want sand under your feet without crowds. The infinity pool sits right next to the water and sometimes you will find a few residents just floating and chatting. The whole gym area is full of natural light, not shut away in some dark corner. There is even a sauna for those afternoons when you need a recharge. If you like being outside you will notice the jogging track wraps around the property and there are always a couple of people taking lazy evening walks after work. If you have little ones there is a play area just for them tucked out of the way but always close enough to keep an eye.
If you ever need something different for dinner or coffee, the Palm has its own laid back cafés and some of Dubai's best restaurants without ever feeling too far from home. Dubai Marina is close by for nights when you want a bit more buzz and some good shops are just a short drive away when you need them.
This apartment is not just about shiny finishes or saying you live at Palm Jumeirah. It feels like somewhere you can find your own rhythm. Good for both someone looking to start out or even just wanting a comfortable second home by the beach. You have really got to walk in and see if it is your kind of space. Sometimes you just know by the way you feel standing on the balcony or cooking for yourself in the kitchen. If you are curious or want to take a look, let me know. There is no pressure.
