Hercules, Living Legends
Some homes just have a feeling you do not quite expect. This one bedroom apartment in Hercules Tower, Living Legends, kind of sneaks up on you like that. Honestly, I was not really in a rush to leave after I got in. There is something about the way the living room opens up from the kitchen that makes it all feel so easy. Light comes in from big windows and you cannot help but look out past the terrace to see all that green. Living Legends is one of those Dubai golf communities where things move at a different pace and you actually hear birds in the morning, not just cars.
Inside, the space is comfortable right away. The kitchen is open plan and it just seems right for both casual nights and real cooking, not just for show. There is plenty of counter space if you like to spread out when you cook and even little things like the way the sockets are placed it all feels practical. There is a breakfast bar where you could have a friend or two for coffee in the morning or some late evening chats after work. The living space is bright and the best thing is you can open the doors to the terrace and let the fresh air in. Sometimes there is a nice breeze that comes through and you might even forget you are in Dubai for a moment.
The bedroom feels steady and private. You will notice the built in wardrobes actually give you space to tuck things away easily, so you are not tripping over shoes or bags. There is enough floor space for a decent sized bed and a little sitting area if you want to read quietly in your own corner. Plus you have two bathrooms which is handy if you have someone over or just want your morning routine to be quick. The bathrooms have a simple layout and they just work without being overly fancy. Out on the terrace you see all these well kept trees and landscaped areas all around the building. Sometimes you notice people out for evening walks or families heading to the garden.
Life in Hercules Tower is pretty practical. Parking is safe because there is secure space below so you do not have to park on the road. Actually you can get more parking spots if you need which is helpful if you have more than one car or just like having friends visit. The building has its own gyms and they are split between men and women. Nothing intimidating like those mega gyms just a good place to get some exercise in without the fuss. Of course there is a swimming pool and on some days it just feels good to relax next to it after work. You see people gathering or kids playing around in the garden sometimes which really does make it feel lively but not crowded at all.
Living Legends actually sits right next to Al Barari so you are away from noise but not too far from life. The community itself is well known for its golf course views and leafy paths so you sometimes find people out jogging or walking their dogs early in the morning. If you need to get around Dubai it is easy from here because Al Khail Road and Sheikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Road are so close. That means the airport does not feel out of reach and places like Downtown Dubai or the Burj Khalifa are a short drive. You can get to Jumeirah Beach if you want that weekend sea breeze or even the Expo site without any trouble.
The best part about this apartment for me is how peaceful it feels but still connected to everything you might need. The shops are close by and cafes are never too far either so even if you feel like staying home you are never stuck. If you are looking at it as an investment the word is these apartments actually rent out quite well because people want that mix of quiet community with a practical Dubai address.
The only way to know if it feels right is to come see it. If you want to take a look or just ask a few questions just let me know. At LuxuryProperty.com we try to make finding your next home feel as relaxed as living in it.
