1 Bedroom Apartment in Golden Mile, Palm Jumeirah

Sometimes when you step inside a place, you just get that feeling like you could really settle in. That hit me as soon as I walked into this one bedroom apartment in Golden Mile, right on the Palm Jumeirah. The light kind of spills in across the floor. You see the big living space and just want to flop onto the sofa for a bit. It is all pretty easy going and comfortable and honestly it sort of makes you not want to rush off anywhere.

This apartment is up for rent and it is actually bigger than most you will see with one bedroom. Just over one thousand three hundred square feet gives you proper space to stretch out. Maybe you are the sort of person who needs a bit of quiet to read a book or you work from home and just want a calm corner for your laptop. I get it. This is not one of those shoeboxes. The living and dining area are all open plan so everything feels connected. You can fix yourself a coffee in the kitchen and still chat with someone in the next room. Even the kitchen is more than just a showpiece. The oven looks ready for someone who actually likes to cook, not just heat something up quickly. Plenty of cupboards too. I opened a few to have a look and everything seemed practical no wasted space.

The master bedroom is bigger than you might expect. Big window facing out so you wake up to some daylight instead of just four walls. Built in wardrobes run along one side which for me is always better than trying to squeeze those free standing ones into an odd corner. There is an en suite bathroom as well so you get that extra bit of privacy and it just makes life simpler.

You will also notice this apartment comes furnished but not in that overdone hotel way. More like a blank canvas where you can bring your own things in and slowly make it yours. I liked the balcony the most. I spent a minute out there just looking across the Palm. People walking dogs or just out for a jog sometimes a little breeze from the water. Honestly, it would be pretty nice in the mornings with a coffee or at night when everything quiets down a bit.

Another thing worth mentioning is the maid's room. Some people use it for storage, some as a work room or a guest visiting. Extra space always helps. Plus you get one car parking spot included which makes life much easier on busy weekends.

Downstairs, Golden Mile feels alive but not crowded. Everything you need is right below. There is a small supermarket for just grabbing milk or chocolate, restaurants for an easy dinner, coffee shops for a quick catch up. I have seen kids biking here after school and neighbours stopping to chat. The whole area feels safe and kind of friendly actually which is a nice change. Nakheel Mall is just up the road so you do not need to go far for bigger shops or if you want to see a movie. The Pointe too, with that crazy fountain show, is a short walk if you want something to do on a Friday evening. Even the public beach is close by and if you feel like spoiling yourself some of Dubai's best hotels and beach clubs are up the road.

You probably have seen a lot of Palm Jumeirah apartments for rent but this one in Golden Mile just feels a bit more relaxed. Sometimes you just know. Whether you are new to Dubai or have lived here a while, you will notice how everything is easy and nearby.
