PRIVE BY DAMAC (A), DAMAC Maison Privé, Business Bay
Sometimes you walk into a place and it feels like someone has already thought about how real life is going to unfold here. That is what you get in this one bedroom apartment at DAMAC Maison Prive in Business Bay. The feeling kind of creeps in when you first wander through the lobby which honestly feels more like a boutique hotel than just a regular apartment building. Someone at reception smiled when I walked in and you kind of forget you are in the centre of Dubai.
The apartment itself is on a higher floor and something about the light here seems softer than usual. There is this wide balcony where you could just step outside with a cup of coffee and the canal view always seems different depending on the hour. Sometimes you pick up the buzz from the city but it never drowns out the calm you get from those uninterrupted Business Bay lake views. I stood by the glass for a few minutes before remembering I had to go back to the kitchen for my notes. It happens a lot in homes like this.
It is a fully furnished apartment but not in that showy way. Things just make sense here. The open plan living area is proper, I mean, you can actually imagine sharing a meal by the dining table or sprawling on the sofa after a long day. The kitchen has this lived in vibe with space to really cook if you want to. The appliances are all quality you will notice that straight away. There are Lutron lighting and easy to handle temperature controls so if you are the type who likes to play with ambience, you are pretty much covered. Honestly, it just feels easy. No fuss.
Move along to the bedroom and it is hard not to picture yourself getting a proper rest here. Ensuite of course and the private seating area is actually somewhere you would want to sit for a while maybe read or even just watch the skyline go pink at sundown. The built in wardrobes do not dominate the space either, which I appreciate. You ever walk into those places where the storage looks like it wants to steal the show. Not here. Everything balances out.
Walking out onto the balcony, the breeze really does carry up. Some days you will catch the early morning light and you think about maybe getting up a bit earlier just to catch it. In the evenings, especially when the city starts to slow down, you can catch little moments where you almost forget your phone for a bit. That is pretty rare these days, if we are honest.
You are right in Business Bay so you can dip into Downtown Dubai or hit DIFC in no time. Everything just connects well. There is always a new coffee spot around the corner or a pizza place when you do not feel like cooking. You see people jogging along the canal, office folks grabbing coffees, even families wandering with prams. It has this rhythm you do not notice until you spend more than just a passing hour.
The building itself really leans into that hotel lifestyle. The pool looks good after work, there is a spa that might convince you to actually book a treatment for yourself for once, and the gym does not have that intimidating feel some gyms do. You will also find a multipurpose room for when you want to have friends over or get some work done somewhere quiet. Housekeeping and valet parking are a call away so most days, life just coasts along. Even the lobby makes you want to linger for a moment before heading upstairs.
Some homes are easier to picture yourself in than others. This one bedroom apartment at DAMAC Maison Prive, for sale at one million AED, is one of them. The best way to find out is to see how it feels on a slow afternoon or maybe early morning with the city just waking up outside. You are always welcome to ask any questions or take a look in person. At LuxuryProperty.com, we just want you to feel at home with your next move, however you define it.
