Belgravia Square, Jumeirah Village Circle
Some places have this gentle way of slowing you down as soon as you get inside and honestly this one bedroom apartment at Belgravia Square in Jumeirah Village Circle did exactly that for me. Before anything else I just noticed how much light fills the space so even on just an ordinary morning you almost feel like you are getting a little treat from those big windows. You stand by them and the day outside feels kind of peaceful for the city. I could imagine having a coffee there in the morning and not needing your phone straight away which is rare.
Walking around the open plan living area I got this sense that it is really set up for actual living not just show. The kitchen does not try too hard you can tell someone designed it for people who cook and want it to work well if they have guests, too. The wood finishes add a bit of warmth. All through the apartment actually you will see a simple palette of greys and whites but it is never cold because the wood softens it and then the sunlight makes everything glow differently as the days move on.
The bedroom just feels restful maybe because it stays pretty quiet even with everything that is going on in Jumeirah Village Circle nearby. You can imagine being able to sleep in on a weekend without noise getting in. Storage is decent which is always something I look for because clutter can really mess with your head after a busy week. The bathroom is modern, kind of boutique hotel styling but it would not feel out of place for every day.
Something I like about Belgravia Square is that it does not try to be flashy. The buildings have this strong look from outside, mainly grey with spots of wood everywhere, and at first I thought it might be a bit too much but when you walk in it just makes sense. The lobby has local artwork so each time you come in there is something to spot. Sometimes I even stopped for a few seconds just to look at the lighting. Maybe not everyone will notice that but details do matter.
Once you step outside your door there is this quiet courtyard feeling central to the development. The pool sits at the heart and it is not just for swimming but honestly one of those places where you can just lay back on the wood deck in the afternoon and just read with the sound of water and a bit of breeze. There's a separate area for kids which I think is handy because you sometimes see families after school and it always feels neighbourly not crowded. The gardens are nicer than you expect actually. You might even spot someone sketching or reading there in the evenings.
Fitness is easy here with a well fitted gym that has actual space to breathe. There is even a games room and a clubhouse vibe which means you do see neighbours at times but it never feels busy just comfortable. Families have their spots too with a playroom and outdoor area so if you have young kids or sometimes host nephews and nieces it is just easy for everyone.
The location is another plus. Jumeirah Village Circle is well connected so getting to places like Dubai Marina or Downtown Dubai is just a matter of deciding where you want to eat or shop. And I have to say, sometimes I walk out and hit one of the local bakeries or coffee places. Nothing feels too far but at the same time when you come back home you feel tucked away from the rush.
There's no way to really know if this is your kind of place until you see it with your own eyes. Any questions or if you just want to have a look in person, reach out to me any time. At LuxuryProperty.com, we honestly want the whole process of finding home to feel as easy as possible for you.
