Banyan Tree Residences Hillside Dubai, Jumeirah Lake Towers
Some homes just have a certain feel as soon as you step inside. This one bedroom apartment at Banyan Tree Residences in Hillside Dubai gave me that right away. There is something about how peaceful it is up here with those direct views looking out over the Emirates Hills golf course. It might be all the greenery or maybe it is how sunlight pours through the wide glass doors. Either way you just sort of breathe out and feel like you have left Dubai's rush behind, but all without being much more than a quick drive from Jumeirah Lake Towers.
So when you walk in the front door the first thing you notice is how the apartment naturally splits itself into two relaxed spaces. On one side you have a living and dining area that feels bright and open. I stood by the balcony for a bit just watching the soft morning light spread across the greens. It is the kind of spot you can picture yourself having your coffee in the morning, letting the day wake up slowly with you. The windows are seriously big and you can actually hear some birds out in the trees below which is honestly a rare thing given how central you are.
The kitchen does not just look good it feels like somewhere you would actually want to cook for real. The cabinetry is that proper solid kind and the counters almost glow under the soft lights at night. Everything is set up with these finishes that feel expensive but not flashy. You will spot brands like Siemens and Villeroy and Boch plus the hardware feels heavy in your hand. There is a guest bathroom tucked off the hallway which is a genuine plus since it means you can keep the master suite private even when you have friends over.
Speaking of the master bedroom it feels a little like a small hotel suite. You get not one but two walk in wardrobes which is honestly more space than most people have. It is quiet in here even at night which might just be down to how the apartment sits on the building. The en suite bathroom is one of those places you can actually relax for a while. Think smooth stone finishes underfoot and really clean lines. You will also notice everything is kept super neat which seems to be the way in all the apartments I have visited in Banyan Tree Residences.
What stands out here is how everything is really well looked after. If you have heard of the Banyan Tree brand before you might know they are all about service but here in Dubai it really feels like you are getting what you pay for. You get a Director of Residences who helps you with the day to day plus there is always someone at the desk if you need something sorted. The amenities are good too. I actually took a look at the fitness center it is never crowded and feels like a proper gym. There is a spa on site where it is easy to duck in after work and a pool area that honestly feels more like a resort than a residential block. Someone told me the pool café does a pretty good cappuccino and it is right by the water so you can linger with a book if you want. Even just taking the lift down and walking through the gardens feels calming after a busy day and sometimes you see a few neighbors wandering with their dogs or chatting by the entrance.
You are close to both Jumeirah Lake Towers and Emirates Hills so shopping and restaurants are always close by. The area has a more community feel than some other parts of Dubai too. I have seen kids riding bikes in the evenings and plenty of people just taking a stroll especially on the weekends when the air feels a little cooler.
Honestly this apartment just feels easy to live in. Not overly showy just quietly comfortable and private with all those Banyan Tree extras that do make a difference day to day. But of course pictures and words never tell the full story. The only way to know if it feels right is to come see it.
