Ashjar, Al Barari
Some homes just have a way of slowing you down before you even know it. That was my first feeling stepping into this one bedroom apartment down on the ground floor at Ashjar in Al Barari. Maybe it is the way the sunlight slips across the floor or just how quiet it gets out here compared to almost anywhere else I have seen in Dubai. It almost surprises you how green everything is. Right away you get those little rustling sounds through the leaves just outside and you cannot help but notice you are nowhere near the ordinary Dubai buzz. Sometimes all you hear are distant birds and maybe the gardeners talking to each other early in the morning.
Inside you have so much space to move around. Honestly if you are used to city apartments that feel small or a bit squeezed in you might look around here and just breathe out. This place has 2142 square feet and there are a lot of spots you can turn into your own reading corner or just sit with a second cup of coffee in the morning. The open plan living and dining makes it feel even bigger and there is just so much natural light coming in from those huge windows. You stand by them and really see the gardens. Some days you might even leave the glass open and just let the breeze in. First thing you might want to do is head out to the terrace with your tea or invite a friend for lunch outside. Feels like you are right among the trees and flowers. You never really lose sight of greenery out here and that makes this spot feel especially calm.
The kitchen actually looks like it would get used a lot. You have all the good Miele appliances so you are set for real cooking not just takeaway. The layout makes it easy to imagine sharing the space if you like to cook together or even have people hanging out at the breakfast bar. You also notice small details that make daily life easy. There is a big walk in wardrobe in the bedroom so it helps you keep your space tidy and honest you start to think about what else you could store there beyond clothes. Shoes maybe. Suitcases. Even the furniture choices are simple and neutral so you could add your own touches if you want or just move in and leave it as it is for now.
After a while you realise how peaceful the whole community is. Al Barari is special that way you have over half the land just left as greenery. You see families walking or sometimes kids riding bikes near the tree lined paths. It feels like being tucked away from the main city but you are never too far from shops or a quick coffee run. Speaking of which The Farm restaurant is just around the corner. Some of us sneak over for breakfast way too often. There is also the Heart and Soul Spa if you want a good massage or need a real treat. The Body Language health club is there too so gym time is almost too convenient. What you might love most is just the pace out here. Evenings feel quiet and sometimes you really do forget about your phone for hours.
Life at Ashjar really is for people who want to slow down sometimes and just look around. For couples it is easy no rush from work to home you just find yourself settling in. For singles the space is yours to use any way you want. If you work from home the views outside give you a break when you need it. Friends who visit will end up staying longer. The city feels close enough when you want it but not close enough to bother you.
I always say you know by walking through a place if it feels right and honestly that is the only way here too. If you want to see what this Ashjar apartment is like just give me a shout. No pressure. Happy to show you around or answer anything you want to know. At LuxuryProperty.com we try to keep each step simple so you can really enjoy the next move you make.
All the details you need about your favorite property, neatly packed into one handy file.
