Some places just have a gentle feeling right from the start. This is one of those. When I walked into this four bedroom townhouse at Somerset Mews in Jumeirah Village Circle, I actually paused for a second and looked up at the big window above the stairs. Sun splashed in and just sort of lingered there, and I got the sense that if I lived here mornings would start slow, in a good way. Somerset Mews keeps things pretty small scale. There are only seventeen of these townhouses in the whole community, which makes it feel more private. Honestly you get the idea right away that it is a tight knit spot. Sometimes I hear neighbors chatting in the gardens out front, and if you walk around early in the evening you might catch kids racing their bikes.
The main thing you will probably notice about this home is the space. At more than three thousand six hundred square feet built up, it just feels open. There is no wasted corner. The living area sits a little higher up on its own floor, which means when you are hanging out with friends or family you are not staring at the driveway or the footpath. Instead you get this sense of being tucked away from the world but still surrounded by daylight.
Honestly the kitchen actually surprised me. Some modern townhouses go overboard and forget you might want to chop onions or cook a proper curry but this kitchen still feels like somewhere you could try a new recipe, or just toss together something easy. You will notice there are plenty of cabinets and the finishes feel sturdy. It just works.
Bedrooms upstairs are all pretty inviting. Each one has its own en suite so you never feel crowded even with a full house. Closets are already built in and feel deeper than you would expect. You will see that the bathrooms have a simple clean vibe to them with vanities that look sharp but are easy to use. Little touches like big mirrors and soft lighting make mornings easier too.
And the rooftop terrace. If you enjoy sitting outdoors late into the evening or having friends over under the open sky this spot really does it. You can see out over JVC a bit. It almost feels like having a secret garden in the city. I could picture lazy Sunday breakfasts up here with pastries and fresh coffee from the café at the end of the block. The community pool is not far plus there are green spaces and a play area for younger kids so there is always somewhere to burn off energy. Residents enjoy covered parking so your car stays cool even in summer and the landscaping around Somerset Mews is honestly better kept than most places in Jumeirah Village Circle.
You can walk to retail spots for your daily essentials or get a pasta to go if cooking feels like too much. JVC itself is pretty relaxed compared to other parts of Dubai. There are always folks out jogging or heading to the dog park. You do not really hear traffic all day which is kind of a luxury in itself.
Whenever I am here, the whole place just feels a bit less hectic than the rest of the city. It is ready to move into so you will not have to wait around. No complicated payments involved either and no service charges for two years which makes it even more appealing whether you are starting out as a family or just wanting a change of pace.
Honestly, words just give you a small slice of what life here feels like. The only way to know if it is the right fit is to come see it. I am happy to answer questions or simply walk you through whenever you like. At LuxuryProperty.com, we want you to feel at home even before you move.
