Some homes just slow you down as soon as you walk in. This four bedroom apartment at Serenia Living on Palm Jumeirah did that to me. You open the door and as soon as you're inside, you feel everything stretch out wide and bright. I just stood for a bit by one of those big windows and watched the blue of the Gulf doing its own thing outside. It's honestly the kind of place that makes you look up for a second and forget the city trade outside.

And when you feel like being social, you're only a few minutes from some of the best dining and entertainment Dubai offers. Coffee places are never far. Some nights you almost forget you can just drive or walk to a world class dinner down the road.
