There is a private beach which I think is what a lot of residents end up loving the most. Just walking down with your sandals in hand and floating for a bit. The gym is proper with enough space you are not bumping elbows with anyone. And the pool. That lazy river bit is actually fun no matter how old you are. Some days you see families with little kids playing and other days it is almost empty and quiet.

As for Palm Jumeirah itself it is its own little world. You can walk out and the coffee shop or a corner store is always close. Evenings here feel calm. Sometimes you see residents jogging on the boardwalk or just sitting and chatting on benches watching everything go by.
