Dubai Hills Grove, Dubai Hills Estate
Some homes just feel like they were meant for slow mornings and long conversations. This nine bedroom villa in Dubai Hills Grove might be the biggest space I have ever walked through, but honestly, it does not feel overwhelming. You step through the courtyard and the first thing you hear is the trickle of the water features and maybe you catch your reflection in one of the lifelike stallion sculptures there. It was one of those days that started out busy but when I reached the entry with its glass canopy, I almost wanted to forget my phone for a while and just look around. For people who know Dubai Hills Estate, you will get what I mean when I say this part of town just has a different pace. Everything slows down a little bit. That first moment inside the foyer, with the marble staircase sweeping up above your head, that sets the tone for what you find next.
On the main floor, the rooms open up one after another and you quickly see why people call this the Street of Dreams. The living rooms are actually spaces you will use. I could see one room working perfectly for big gatherings or family evenings, but then there is a quieter spot with windows looking right onto the golf course. On the day I was there, you could catch a bit of that Dubai skyline and maybe spot the Burj Khalifa in the distance, especially as the sun went down. And the formal dining space, honestly, it almost feels right out of a hotel, but then you get these bursts of color or artwork from all over the world that make it feel like an actual home. Kitchen is a surprise too. Sometimes with these grand homes, it feels like no one ever cooks, but this kitchen is actually set up for real cooking and not just for a chef to pass through at a party. Appliances are about as high end as you would expect, yes, but it is more about how everything is in reach and just makes sense. If you like to entertain or cook with family, you will find it pretty easy here.
Upstairs is where things get a bit more private. The main suite comes with two separate balconies. I stood on one for a bit and you could actually hear the breeze, which is rare in Dubai. The bathroom is so big you could have a dance in there and there is a Jacuzzi plus a walk in closet that, if you are into clothes, well, you may never want to leave. Each bedroom does its own thing, some have private terraces, all with their own bathrooms of course, but what stands out is the natural light. You notice how different each room feels, almost like a little retreat for every person in the house.
And then, you know how basements are usually ignored spaces. Not here. This one is sort of over the top in the best way. If you want a cinema night, that is sorted. There is a bar down there, two gyms, and even a wellness spa that does not just feel like an afterthought. Someone really thought about how to make each space matter. The garage is something else too. I peaked in and it is set up to look like an actual nightclub, with built in lighting and sound, which is wild but also kind of cool for parties or even just to show off your cars if you are into that kind of thing.
Outside is where it totally shifts again. You get this massive infinity pool where you can watch the golfers out on the Dubai Hills Golf Course, and sometimes in the evenings you will see kids biking past outside the gates or hear the soft music from a gathering a few doors down. The BBQ area and even the outdoor amphitheater kind of invite you to have everyone over, but even on a regular morning, this backyard just feels like holiday.
There are clever touches everywhere. Over thirty varieties of marble, solar panels tucked away, and a smart home system that just works and does not make you think too hard. You really have to see how the space flows from room to room to get the feel for it. If you know Dubai Hills, you know how private and secure it feels, but there is always something happening in the community besides. A walk to the park, coffee shop trips are close and every now and then you spot neighbors out walking their dogs.
I could describe it all day, but it still does not explain what it feels like standing inside. The only way you will know if it is right for you is to come and see it. If you want to walk through or just have a question, I am always around. At LuxuryProperty.com, we try to make your next move feel as easy and comfortable as possible.
