7 Bedroom Villa in Sweden, The World Islands

Some places are so different that when you arrive you almost have to stop for a minute and just let it sink in. This seven bedroom villa on Sweden Island at The World Islands really does it. Arriving by boat makes the trip feel like a mini adventure even before you get to the front door. I remember standing on the private beach here barefoot for a moment just listening to the water and thinking how you cannot hear a car or city noise anywhere. It is just you the sea breeze and a sense of true escape that honestly is hard to find anywhere else in Dubai.

From the outside the villa is wild and striking. The architecture takes a nod from Viking ships, with curves you can actually run your hands along. Inside you will notice it feels easy. Bentley designed the interiors so everywhere you look there is some detail you want to inspect up close like the way the built ins almost melt into the walls. Natural light pours in the main living area thanks to all the glass so you never lose sight of the open ocean or even the Dubai skyline peeking on the horizon. There is this open plan living and dining space that honestly feels more like you are outdoors than in. Sometimes people linger at the windows just watching birds skim the water or boats in the distance. The kitchen is not just to show off either. Big central island at the center plus those stainless appliances mean you could cook something real here, probably with the windows open to catch the sea air.

Downstairs you have two guest bedrooms that are tucked away so friends get their privacy and do not feel on top of everyone else. Then when you head upstairs it gets even better. The master feels like a true retreat. There is a walk in closet you can actually move around in and a study space if you ever feel like working privately without leaving home. The free standing tub in the bedroom is a little quirky but you get used to it and it kind of makes everyday routines like a spa moment. Sometimes you just catch yourself staring at the ocean from the balcony and forgetting whatever you were doing five minutes before.

One of my favorite spots though is up one level in the lounge on the second floor. It runs all along the top and it is wrapped in glass so when you are there day or night it is just endless sky and water everywhere you look. This is where you would want to have friends over or just crash on the sofa and watch the light change. If you are into photography you will love this space because every hour looks different. For serious wow factor there is a rooftop lounge that honestly gives you some of the best views this side of Dubai.

Back down on the lower level things get sort of cool in both senses. There is a full gym that looks out toward the water so if you like to work out natural light is never a problem. The spa and sauna are real ones not the pretend kind you find in hotels. But the wildest bit is honestly the snow room. It stays at freezing even when Dubai hits summer. You step inside and it wakes you up like nothing else and leaves you feeling refreshed. I know a few people who use it after a long day just for a change of pace.

And all around the outside the fun continues. There is an infinity pool that just seems to spill into the ocean itself. You get a whirlpool for relaxing after sunset and a proper Jacuzzi too. But nothing beats walking straight onto your own private stretch of sand. Sometimes you see kids playing here in the evening or little crabs moving along before the tide returns. The whole place feels private in a way you do not get anywhere on the Dubai mainland.

Getting to Sweden Island is a little out of the way but you never really notice after the first time because the trip itself gets easier and the quiet you get is worth it. Shops and coffee are not right on your doorstep but if you want peace and a getaway vibe every day you will get it here. Out here on The World Islands it just feels like a real break.
