Some places you walk into and everything just sort of relaxes. Casa Juni in Vega del Colorado is like that. The gates slide open and you drive up between these peaceful gardens that just make you feel like the rest of Marbella has drifted away. I stood outside for a while when I first visited and honestly, you can hear the wind in the trees and the odd bird somewhere. There is a calm and a level of privacy here that is not always easy to find in Benahavis. The villa itself is what you hope for when you are looking for real living space, not just something that looks good in a photo.
The front door opens and light just falls right in. Natural sunshine is everywhere. I walked the floors and they actually feel warm, not just because of the heating but from the way the villa is laid out. Everything flows into the next room and it is easy on your mind. There are seven bedrooms in this villa and they are all properly sized. None of those tight corners or funny shaped spaces. Sometimes you see houses with a lot of rooms but no space, well this is different. Each bedroom has enough quiet and air that you can close the door and forget you even have neighbors. There is a bedroom with these huge windows that look straight out over the garden and you kind of want to stay in there with a coffee and just let the morning go a little slower.
The bathrooms all feel good. You know that thing where you step into a master bathroom and it gives off spa vibes straight away This one does that. The lines are clean and simple. There is space to move and you do not have to rush. There are five full bathrooms plus a powder room so you are never trying to beat someone to the shower. Sometimes the trend for modern can go too far but the way finishes are done here it feels timeless not cold.
Now about the kitchen. I admit kitchens in grand villas can sometimes just be for show, but this one invites you in. Nice new counters and the storage is enough that you are not stacking pans where they do not fit. You can imagine a real family meal in here or snacks with friends or even just grabbing a bite before walking out to the terrace. It all leads out onto those terraces so carrying plates out for dinner under a Marbella sunset is just easy.
One of my favorite spots is tucked right under a little bit of greenery outside, sort of hidden away. I found myself thinking you could take a book out there and leave your phone inside and probably not even notice. Marbella weather is kind for most of the year so honestly, those terraces are another living room. The gardens hug the villa and are kept up so well, you feel like walking barefoot just because.
For mornings or for families who like to be outdoors there is an outdoor gym set in among the trees. It is not the sort of thing you see tacked on to please a brochure. It is a real space. The padel court is just as good, I saw clear signs it actually gets played on regularly. You also hear kids playing in the afternoons from the play area and that is always nice, feels like people really live here.
Indoors you have a pool that works all year and another for when the weather is perfect. There is an actual home cinema too, with proper sound so it is pretty nice for evenings in. A sauna and a bodega for anyone who loves wine just make it all add up.
Living in Vega del Colorado means you get those benefits of safety and peace, the community is gated and you rarely hear traffic. Benahavis is always restful but here you are also just a short drive from Marbella and Málaga, and all those great restaurants and coffee shops. Pretty often you see people jogging or out with their dogs as the sun is setting.
There is a double garage which comes in handy. Sometimes when the doors are open you can even smell the flowers from the garden drifting in.
With about three thousand five hundred square meters of land and seven bedrooms this villa is big enough for a family or anyone who just wants space to let their life breathe. Casa Juni has its own feeling and honestly, that is hard to describe in words. The only way to find out is to come and see it. If you are interested or even a bit curious just let me know.
