Some homes just have a calm to them even before you walk inside. Standing in front of this five bedroom villa at 7153 Fisher Island Drive in Miami Beach I could honestly feel it. Maybe it's the ocean air or the soft sound of palm leaves rustling or maybe it's just that everything here has a little more space to breathe. You step out of your car right by your private garage and everything slows down a bit. Fisher Island always feels tucked away from the world but this part especially. You do not hear much besides the water most days.
When you head up the elevator from your private garage it opens into this light filled entryway that feels way bigger than you first expect. I actually stood for a second and looked across the green landscape before even wanting to take my shoes off. The living area blends right out towards the bay with views you kind of get lost in. It is not just wide windows either. You get a sense that the whole place is built for the way you'd really want to live. Barefoot mornings with coffee in hand and honestly some of the best sunrises you will find anywhere in Florida. Sometimes it's so quiet you almost forget to check your phone.
Each of the five bedrooms has its own character. There is room for a big family or just a need for extra space if you like to host friends. The finishes are not here to impress anyone. They are just really nice even the baseboards and hardware. You can almost hear the thought that went into every inch. The two big private storage rooms are both air conditioned which I found was kind of brilliant. Not the usual cobweb corner that nobody ever wants to step into. Here you can actually keep things organized and close but still tucked away when you do not need them. The garage has space for two cars plus whatever else you want to keep out of the sun. Bikes fit without trouble and there's a golf cart spot as well which you'll probably use just to pop over to see neighbors or down to the water.
The kitchen is pretty impressive. It is bright and open but you can see it is meant for real cooking not just takeout and the occasional salad. There's a huge amount of counter space and it is easy to imagine everyone together here on weekend mornings. The kids could even be in the playroom just off the main space or watching cartoons in the media room while you get a quiet cup in. You will also notice there are four laundry machines with cabinets and a vanity setup. If you have a busy household or like to keep a few things separate it makes life so much easier. There is just a flow to it all that feels considered.
Sometimes you expect a home at this level to be kind of cold or too modern for its own good. Here it is just the opposite. Maybe it is because it was designed in Milan by Augusto Busnelli of Studio Busnelli. Everything feels like a piece of real life. Big spaces for noisy family nights and soft corners for when you want peace. The cabana outside looks straight over the water so even if you are not swimming you can read a book or sip something cold and not feel rushed at all.
Fisher Island is one of those places where the mornings start slow and you have the option to fill your day with as much or as little as you want. Coffee shop at the club is really close. It is not unusual to see people biking or out walking after dinner. The sense of privacy is honestly hard to match anywhere near Miami Beach. You have got five bathrooms so there is never a wait. You have even got a home office for real work or just catching up at your pace.
For anyone serious about waterfront real estate in Miami or just wants that real Florida lifestyle without any noise this villa is the sort of place that might be exactly right. I always say there is nothing quite like seeing a house in person to know if it feels right. If you would like to walk through or have any questions just reach out.
