I'll tell you, when you first step into this penthouse up on the fifty third floor of 16901 Collins Avenue in Miami it kind of stops you for a second. There is nothing blocking the view. I mean it. The bedrooms all lead off from the main spaces so you get privacy but not distance. Five in total each with its own bathroom plus a couple extra for guests so no one is bumping into each other in the morning. The master suite has a little seating spot where you just want to sit with coffee and not say anything for a bit some mornings. And if you ever decide you want to work from home you've got a study that faces the water so working late does not feel quite so bad. There is a family room slightly tucked away and to be honest it is much more than just a TV room you can stretch out here or entertain friends or just spread out your stuff and daydream. There are service quarters too so house help can have a sense of their own space without it feeling too separate. 

Something I really noticed is how light finds its way into every corner even when the weather rolls in. In the afternoons you can actually feel the shift as the sun swings over and the ocean changes color. Maybe the best part is you do not really hear anything except the breeze and now and then the distant sound of the city. Miami feels close but you also feel like you are floating in your own spot above it all. Sometimes from up here you can see the boats making their way across the intracoastal or kids out on the sand even though you are high above everything it is still connected. 

And honestly you get all this square footage but nothing feels wasted. You could have friends here for a weekend let the kids run wild through the family room or just keep everything peaceful for yourself. Coffee shops and the beach are never far from this spot. Plus you are part of a building that feels private and looked after.
