Some homes make you stop for a second before you even get through the front door. Standing there at 24 Palm Ave, you're surrounded by that gentle hush you get on Palm Island. The water is close enough that you just smell salt in the air and the world feels miles from the busy rush of South Beach and downtown Miami, even though you could drive there in just a few minutes. This seven bedroom villa is really something to take in. The first thing people usually do is wander straight to the edge of the yard to see how the Miami skyline almost floats beyond Biscayne Bay. I did it too, just leaned on the rail for a while. Kind of hypnotic, if you ask me.
Outside, you'll see what makes homes on Miami Beach's islands so special. The yard is a real escape. There's a big pool, sparkling on sunny days and honestly big enough for proper swimming, not just wading around. The spa sits nearby, so if you get a cooler night or just want to wind down, it is easy to slip in and stare up at palm fronds or the sky. The bay is right there in front, with one hundred feet or so of waterfront. And you get a serviced dock, which means boat lifts and even space for jet skis, so going out for a ride on the ocean does not need to be a big production. It feels more like heading out for groceries. There is a summer kitchen out here too and I picture friends gathering while someone's got the barbecue going. Kids tossing a ball or maybe music playing quietly from the house. You can almost taste a grilled snapper or smell something sweet in the air.
You'll notice the property has space to spread out. Not just with those seven bedrooms but the way the home is actually arranged. The master suite has the whole upper floor of the main house to itself. I walked up and suddenly everything went quiet, just the sounds of water outside. Imagine sliding out onto a private terrace or taking the first cup of coffee there every morning. Downstairs, the living area is double height and really bright. If you look up, the big windows just let in every bit of Miami sun. The kitchen got a fresh update recently and anyone who likes to mess around with new recipes will be happy. You have Wolf and Subzero appliances, so you are not stuck with anything less than you'd want in a real chef's space. It sits beside the living room, dining room and a wet bar, which is kind of nice for weekends with company. There's also an actual family room, not just a formal living area, so it feels lived in and easy to spend any kind of day in.
You might not even notice the back stair if no one points it out. It tucks away quietly and heads up to the crows nest on the roof. I went up there and, honestly, you feel completely apart from everything. Look out one way and it is all city lights. Look another and you see boats tracing slow lines across the bay. Great spot for a sundown drink or just space to collect your thoughts away from the crowd.
There is also a separate guest house which just makes those long family stays really simple. Four cars fit in the garage, which may not sound like a big deal but around here it is kind of handy. The estate is unfurnished right now, which I actually like because you can bring in your own style and it will not clash with someone else's taste.
You get a real sense that life out here just flows at a more relaxed rhythm, with the main parts of Miami always close when you want them but easy to forget when you do not. Sometimes in the evenings, you see neighbors taking their boats out after work or just walking the pets while the sun sets behind the city skyline.
You can read about this estate all day but really, the only way to know if it fits is to come and see for yourself. Open the doors, see the view, walk the property. If you have questions or if you just want to take a look, send a message or call any time. We want your next move in Florida to feel like the right one. Come find out if this is it.
