Dubai British School is nearby for families with kids and the area just feels safe and well looked after. It is pretty easy to pop over to Dubai Marina or JBR or even Palm Jumeirah if you want a beach day. It really is only a short drive no matter where you need to go but when you are back here, it gets quiet again.
