There is something about 3-bedroom apartment for sale at Akala Hotel and Residences in DIFC that feels a little different when you walk through. Maybe it is the way the afternoon light comes across the living area or how quiet everything seems even though you are right in the middle of Dubai. I stopped for a second by the window and looked out just to see what it really feels like and honestly you can almost forget all the city noise and stress up here.
So this is a three bedroom apartment and I feel like it fits pretty much any kind of life you want. If you have kids there is room for them to run around and if you are working from home it actually feels easy to imagine setting up your laptop and having a coffee while the city wakes up outside your window. The bedrooms just have that sense of space and they do not feel boxed in at all. I like that every one gets good light and none of them are pushed in a dark corner. You can open up the windows a little and let the breeze in. I get the feeling people will really live in these bedrooms not just sleep there.
The kitchen, and I have looked at a lot of kitchens, actually feels like a spot where you would cook a proper meal. Real counters where you can spread things out and even if you only make pasta once in a while you do not feel like you are in some hotel room with no space for anything. Appliances are all in and it is easy to move from fridge to oven to sink without bumping into things. Sometimes you find this odd little bench in the corner — someone probably uses that for coffee in the morning or maybe the kind of chats that only happen late at night when everyone else is asleep.
You do get a main living area that feels good for lazy Sundays or for having friends over. It does not feel stuffy at all. If you chill out here after work or read a book in the sun I think you will kind of melt into the place. It is what I would call really livable. The bathrooms are done in a very modern style but nothing too flashy and they just have this clean simple feeling. The best thing is the finishing touches are done right you do not see any corners cut everything just fits together.
One thing I noticed too — when you step outside Akala Residences keeps a really low key calm feeling compared to some other places in DIFC. There are trees and soft landscaping and just a bit of space to breathe. You can do a walk around in the evening and see people coming back from work grabbing a coffee or just having a chat with neighbors. The coffee shop is pretty much downstairs and it seems like everyone drops by in the mornings for their usual. The location is classic DIFC — you are just a few minutes walk to restaurants and all the art galleries and little spots that make the area what it is. If you have to dash to meetings or just want to take in the energy of the city it is all right there.
You are looking at a property that is offered for sale at seventeen million and forty thousand AED. It is not the least expensive spot in Dubai but sometimes you pay for the things that actually make life smoother. Being this close to the heartbeat of the city but coming home to your own quiet corner — that does not happen everywhere and it is worth a look.
Anyway you can read about it and scroll photos all day but really the only way to know if it feels right is to come see it. If you have questions or just want to go for a walk through reach out any time. At LuxuryProperty.com we just want your next move to feel as comfortable and easy as it should.
