About this property

Some homes just catch you off guard with how they make you feel. These ocean view villas at La Roca in Nusa Dua, Bali did that for me. The first time I visited, the sun was sinking down over the water and honestly, I stopped in the driveway for a second to look at the sky. You almost forget you are a few minutes away from all the five star resorts and just twenty minutes from Bali International Airport. Here, things slow down.

What really sets La Roca apart is how these luxury villas are actually built right into the rocky hillside. I never realized how dramatic that could look until I was there, standing next to these big natural stone walls, just feeling how cool everything stayed inside. There are eight villas in total and every single one comes with these big floor to ceiling windows that frame the ocean. You will always catch that blue on the horizon whether you are having breakfast in the living area or just waking up in the master suite. I noticed all that right away, but what sticks with you is how private it all feels.

Layouts here give you plenty of space. Each villa is roughly six thousand four hundred square feet built up, sitting on even larger plots, so you are not on top of your neighbor. You get four en suite bedrooms and the kind of master suite where you would probably end up spending more time than expected because those views are the kind you can't get tired of. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, but it is more than just rooms and bathrooms here. The main living room opens straight out to an infinity pool that literally blends into the sea below. The pool itself is almost carved from the natural rock, so you feel part of the scenery and honestly, I was tempted to just let my feet dangle over the edge and stay there for a while.

There is this special space inside every villa called the Parlour Room. I loved this part. High ceilings, a big library wall, a spot for a pool table, and a tucked away office corner that actually felt like somewhere you might get some real work done but also have friends over at night and just enjoy being indoors. It has its own vibe, a little quieter, kind of hidden from the main buzz of the house.

Kitchens here are meant for genuine use. Not just for show, but for anyone who actually likes cooking while chatting with friends at the island. You can see the ocean while you cook, by the way, and if you open the glass doors nearby, you get these cross breezes that keep everything fresh. Downstairs, you even get a cinema room, a gym, your own sauna and steam, plus a jacuzzi and an ice bath. I could see myself using that after a morning out surfing or playing golf, which by the way is just five minutes away at Bali National Golf Club. If you are more into Helipads, the Nusa Dua Helipad is only three minutes by car. The best part for me though was just how easily you can head straight to the beach. Every villa comes with private access to that stretch of white sand. I took my shoes off and wandered down, and it felt like your own piece of coastline. The waves aren't too loud, the breeze brings in the smell of salt, and there is always somewhere to sit in the shade.

La Roca's interiors are never cookie cutter. Each detail, from the curved walls inside to the bespoke furnishings, feels chosen and not copied from anywhere else. There's also still room to add your own ideas if you want, which is rare with places like this. And you can tell right away, these villas are for people who want something just a bit different.

The only way to know if this place has the right feeling for you is to come see for yourself. If you just want to ask questions or take a walk through one of these ocean view villas in Nusa Dua, my phone is always on. At LuxuryProperty.com, we want you to feel comfortable about your next move, no rush. Sometimes the best homes are just the ones that make you pause and breathe for a moment. Let me know if you want to come take that in yourself.
