This two bedroom apartment in the Opera District of Downtown Dubai gave me that feeling when I walked through. You know how some places seem busy with noise and clutter but somehow here, as I stood in the living room and glanced out, it just felt calm. Right next to the kitchen there is a laundry room and yes there is even an en suite room off the kitchen which would work perfectly if you have someone staying with you who helps out or maybe as a quiet office corner. It's a practical touch a lot of places in Downtown Dubai forget to include.

You have a gym in the building and a pool where the water is always just the right temperature so you can swim early before work or late when it gets quiet. I always think these little luxuries are what make everyday life in Dubai feel special. Central AC obviously so you never get too warm by accident and it really keeps the summer outside where it belongs. Security is there round the clock and everyone coming and going just seems relaxed which says a lot about how well the building is looked after. If you drive there is covered parking and you get your own dedicated spot so no need to play the endless parking shuffle.

What really stands out is living right in the heart of Downtown Dubai but still having that sense of privacy. It's just a short walk out the door and you can reach the Dubai Opera or some of the top restaurants and coffee places in the city. I saw a couple of kids biking near by so if you have family or friends with young ones it just feels like a happy place to be. People always talk about lifestyle but here it just feels easy. Even the streets outside seem a little bit slower paced than the rest of Downtown.

This apartment is ready for you to put your own mark on it. It's offered unfurnished which I always think is better anyway because it means you really get to make it your own.
