Five-Bedroom Home in the Sky

Some homes just make you pause when you step inside. That was me in this five bedroom villa up at Jade Signature Residences in Sunny Isles Beach. You know how sometimes a view is good in pictures but once you are actually standing there you get this bigger sense of openness and light I got that right away with these huge windows that run all the way up to the ceiling. The sunlight just dances across the marble floors and it feels like the beach and the skyline are somehow part of the living room. The feeling stays as you move through the house. It just feels easy. Nothing fussy. No unnecessary details. Even if you have a busy day to day it would probably be hard to stay stressed once you are here.

The living space is really impressive. I actually stopped and just looked up for a second. The ceilings here are so high you don't just see the room you notice the airiness too. Someone could just sit by those windows for hours honestly. It would probably be my favorite winter spot if this were my place. You can see all the way down Miami's coastline. In the evenings the city lights make everything sort of sparkle but in the mornings it is calm and you watch the boats glide past. The first time I walked up those stairs to the second floor I was thinking this is what people mean when they say sky villa.

When you get to the bedrooms you realize how well thought out the layout is. Each room has its own en suite so you are never waiting for the shower in the morning. There is real closet space as well which can be rare even in high end places around Miami. In the main bedroom you get more of the views and there is a spot off to the side that works for a desk or a reading chair. I could imagine getting some work done here but also maybe mostly just relaxing. The bathrooms look and feel luxurious but nothing feels too showy. Marble all around and it is actually comfortable to be in there. Plus if you like to work out there is a home gym and even a sauna which is a pretty rare find for a home in the sky like this one. If you have guests or family visiting long term they will probably notice there are dedicated service quarters with their own bathrooms so everyone kind of has their own space and privacy.

The kitchen feels like where you would cook for real not just heat something up. This is where you will find appliances by Gaggenau and Sub Zero. You do not have to be a chef to appreciate how solid everything feels. Cooking here would be easy whether you are just making coffee in the morning or hosting a long Sunday lunch with friends. The marble countertops actually get a little glow as the sunset comes in and the dining area looks out over the water so even breakfast can feel like a holiday.

Even the little details are taken care of. You get a private elevator vestibule so coming in feels smooth. No awkward pauses waiting for a lift. When you head out you are right in Sunny Isles which has such a different mood than the busier stretches of Miami but everything you need is close. Coffee runs in the morning are easy. The beach is just down below and the best part is the water really feels like it is yours for the day. Sometimes you see families walking in the evenings or neighbors heading out with paddle boards. Honestly the place just has a good sense of community without ever being crowded.

Jade Signature is one of those addresses in Florida where you just know you are somewhere special but it never tries too hard. This house feels like a true Miami waterfront villa and the space you get here goes above what you usually find in South Florida. Every part has something to notice.
