Some places just have that old soul about them. Torre Bella Vista honestly draws you in right from the minute you step onto the grounds. This is a one bedroom villa in Florence and I have to say you do really notice how different it feels compared to other properties you might see. The pace slows down here almost as if the air itself moves with a kind of softness. When you stand by the low stone wall and look out over the Chianti hills you get these wide panoramic views that just make you pause for a second. You might even spot a hawk drifting on the breeze or hear bells chiming from a distant village and everything gets that peaceful feeling you only find in some corners of Tuscany.

If you have ever wanted a villa wrapped in a blanket of real privacy this one sits on a vast piece of land. I remember just wandering the property a bit and realizing how open it felt. Fifty hectares is a lot and you can actually stroll under olive trees or just listen to birds with no noise from the city at all. But even with all this space you are never really far from Florence itself. Getting into the city is a quick drive so you keep all that access to culture and food and that lively Florentine energy but when you come home it is just calm and fresh air.

The buildings on this estate were updated but they did it without losing any of that history and honestly you feel it under your hands when you touch the walls. There are these beautiful original stone floors that keep cool in the summer which I kind of love because you can walk barefoot right into your kitchen without worrying about the heat. The beams above are all old wood and if you look close you see little marks that show their age. Doors are heavy with solid feeling and it does not feel slick or artificial and you never forget you are living somewhere with roots.

Inside the villa you will notice a warmth that starts right at the kitchen. A lot of times you see kitchens in these country homes that are maybe a bit too pretty for actually using but not this one. It is real. There is enough counter for actually making a meal and chairs tucked around the kitchen table that really invite you to sit with a cup of coffee. I have done that myself and sometimes the late morning light just fills up the space. Central heating is quietly there so on the few nights it does get chilly you are never cold. Bedrooms have the right vibe for shutting the door and having real rest. The windows open to little garden views and there is always a good spot for sitting down with a book or maybe just listening to the sounds outside.

I think you will enjoy the way the gardens feel connected to the living spaces. This place does not fall into the trap of neglected outdoor areas. There are tidy lawns and flowers that pop out even when it is not summer. It is easy to find somewhere to settle in with lunch or a sunset drink. I have seen neighbors out near the barbecue area when the weather is right and it is relaxed. People come and go but it never feels crowded. Sometimes you just end up sharing a laugh with someone as the day winds down.

The infinity pool sits right out at the edge and honestly you just want to spend a lazy afternoon out there. On hot days you have this breeze coming off the hills and you just sort of lie back with a towel and maybe a glass of Chianti. The sunset from the pool does its own thing and you can lose an hour or two just watching the colors shift. Kids sometimes kick a ball on the grass and everyone ends up unwinding in their own time.

You get a blend of city and country life here which is rare. Florence is always close but out here you have all that green quiet. Nights can be full of stars or sometimes music drifts up from another villa and you just breathe it all in. I will say Torre Bella Vista is best for someone who wants that sense of place and at the end of the day it needs to feel right for you.

The only way to really find out is to visit. Bring your questions or just come for a walk and see if it makes sense for your life. I am always happy to talk or meet up at the estate. At LuxuryProperty.com we want your next move to feel as easy as coming home. Sometimes all it takes is standing in the sun and seeing if this is the one.
