Best Places in Dubai to Celebrate Halloween 2023

5 October 2023 Written by Staff Writer

One of the great things about living in a cosmopolitan city like Dubai is that you can celebrate any festival with aplomb - whether it is an occasion of religious and sentimental significance, or something altogether….spooky. Halloween has become one of the highlights of the events calendar in Dubai, with several venues offering a dose of fright for all ages during the last week of October. There are even some places where the scares keep going all month long. If you want to take a trip to the dark side, then here are the best places in Dubai where you can enjoy Halloween-themed events.

Atelier M Halloween

Halloween Parties

Pier 7, Dubai Marina

Both Atelier M and Mama Zonia at this famous Marina dining haven are hosting Halloween-themed events later this month. Atelier M will have a total of 4 parties during the last week of October complete with creepy cocktails, live music and an array of prizes for the best costumes including an AED 1,000 voucher, a Saturday brunch for two, and a ladies’ night voucher. Mama Zonia will have a special Halloween brunch, also with live entertainment and themed drinks.

Raspoutine Dubai, DIFC

One of Dubai’s most theatrical nightspots will, appropriately, host a circus-inspired soirée on Halloween night that begins with a specially curated set menu. Indulge in dishes featuring succulent king crab and foie gras and soak in the atmosphere before the main event which kicks off at midnight and will last into the early hours of the morning.

Barfly by Buddha Bar, Palm Jumeirah

This rooftop hotspot at Hilton the Palm will be hosting a Halloween party that is as elegant as it is frightful, with a diverse menu, live music, a magician, and dance performances.

Brunches/Dinners

Atlantis the Palm, Palm Jumeirah

Get ready to spend Halloween weekend at the iconic Atlantis where you will be spoilt for choice with weekend brunches. There are three choices for Saturday brunch on the 28th, at Gordon Ramsay’s Bread Street Kitchen, South American restaurant En Fuego, and brunching mainstay Saffron. On Sunday the 29th, you can tuck into Bread Street Kitchen’s Halloween Roast or enjoy a family lunch at En Fuego. And if you prefer your Halloween festivities to be adults only, En Fuego has you covered once again with a Friday Fiesta on the 27th and Halloween Nights dinner and drinks deals from Monday the 30th until Wednesday the 1st of November.

Haunted Hotel IMG Worlds of Adventure

Fun for the Whole Family

Wavehouse, Palm Jumeirah

It only makes sense that one of the best family entertainment and recreation destinations in Dubai is going to be a Halloween hotspot. Wavehouse is getting a scary makeover for eight days of fun, festing and frights, plus costume contests with fun prizes.

IMG Worlds of Adventure

Experience a full month of chills at Dubai’s famous indoor theme park, where the spirit of Halloween will be in the air throughout the month. The theme for this year is ‘zombie apocalypse’, with an appropriately dark and chilling atmosphere complemented by fog machines, jack o’lanterns, and some frightening surprises. The park will also feature roving performances from a zombie circus, aerial dancers, and zombies roaming the grounds. If all those scares are working up an appetite, then you can head over to the brand new Haunted Cafe and discover a menu that’s designed to thrill. There’s also plenty to entertain children without scaring them too much, including pumpkin hunts, trick or treat stations, and kid-friendly monsters. The highlight for many will be the big Halloween bash taking place on the 28th, with live DJs and a competition to find the most frightful dance outfits.
