Some homes just seem to whisper to you when you step inside. This five bedroom villa in Redwood Avenue, right in Jumeirah Golf Estates, did exactly that for me. I found myself slowing down as soon as I came in the front door. Maybe it's the way the light pours in or the way you catch a glimpse of the golf course outside even before you really look for it. Jumeirah Golf Estates has a certain calmness about it. You can almost hear the breeze most days. Sometimes I see families walking their dogs in the late afternoon or even a few kids on their bicycles heading to grab a snack after tennis.
The villa itself is seriously spacious. Over nine thousand square feet gives you plenty of room to shape it the way you live. Some people love making a big kitchen into that center hangout spot and this kitchen actually feels like a place where you'd want to cook. Lots of worktop space but not in a fussy way. There's this natural flow from kitchen to the dining room then out to a terrace that overlooks the Earth Course. Maybe you are not much of a golfer but honestly just sitting out there in the mornings with coffee is pretty easy to get used to.
Five bedrooms means space for everyone or just a lot of breathing room if you like. Each bedroom feels private enough for everyone to find their own quiet moment. You also get plenty of closet space which you only really appreciate after living somewhere where you have to keep boxes under the bed. Some rooms even have those little details like extra windows you notice at sunset when the place gets that soft glow.
The Mediterranean-inspired design shows itself more and more as you spend time here. With warm toned floors and a mix of smooth and textured walls it never feels too formal. The villa is built for both big gatherings and quiet afternoons. Sometimes you almost forget your phone when the light is just right in the living area and everything feels easy. The formal living room opens straight out to an outdoor space where you might see kids playing or listen to birds most mornings.
One thing people always ask about is the views. From a few spots inside the villa you get that endless green of the golf course at Jumeirah Golf Estates. Every time I have walked through I ended up taking a moment just staring at the view watching the golf carts roll by in the distance. There's a calm that comes with living somewhere like this away from traffic and noise. You still have all the city conveniences just not right on your doorstep. The neighbourhood has gourmet dining and a nice clubhouse where you end up bumping into neighbours now and then.
Plus there are green walking trails winding through the community and it always feels safe. The tennis academy and fitness center are not too far away so you might find yourself actually using those amenities instead of just saying you will and never going. The whole place is set up to help you slow down. Sometimes you can even smell fresh cut grass outside if you open the windows in the evening.
Honestly the best thing about this villa is how adaptable it feels. Whether you want space for family or you are dreaming of that quiet home office that nobody bothers you in you can make it your own. Maybe you are looking for a primary home in Dubai or maybe this is your getaway from city life. Either way once you see the place you get it.
You can look at photos but the only way to know if this villa feels right is to come and spend a little time inside it.
