Some houses have a way of making you slow down before you even really look at the details. This five bedroom villa in Orange Lake at Jumeirah Golf Estates does that. I remember stepping inside and just kind of pausing. There is this soft sound from the gardens and you get the feeling that life here is just a little easier. The first thing I caught was the sunlight coming in through those full height windows. You can see the lake shimmering outside and honestly you get that holiday feeling even on a weekday afternoon.
So this home is spread out over quite a lot of space. It is more than six thousand square feet but it never tries to show off. Just big rooms that feel open without feeling empty. And that indoor outdoor thing is real. You can slide open a door and step right onto the terrace where you see the water and sometimes spot some ducks or kids on bikes weaving past the lawns. The community is pretty quiet but never sleepy and you always see people out on walks or heading to the golf club in the evenings. There is a nice sense of everyone knowing their lane but not getting in each other's way.
Inside the villa you will notice the Mediterranean feel right away. Parquet floors, lots of marble under your feet and some of the paint details really stand out if you stop and look. I actually lingered in the kitchen because it is set up for actual meals not just takeout. There is natural wood cabinetry and the granite counters feel nice and cool to the touch. The appliances are all top level. If you cook even a little bit you will appreciate having quality built in from the start. On the ground floor you also get a guest bedroom and a room for help. Both have their own bathrooms which is always nice if you prefer privacy.
When you wander up to the first floor you can tell the whole design is built around light. Seriously I walked into one of these bedrooms around three in the afternoon and almost forgot to check my phone because the view across the lake just takes over for a moment. Every bedroom here has its own terrace so if you ever needed a bit of quiet you would never have trouble finding it. The master suite especially stands out. There is enough storage to actually manage a wardrobe and the marble in the bathroom makes you want to take your time getting ready. The little mosaic touches are really thoughtful and it never feels stuffy.
The best thing is probably the fact that everything just works together. The garden is shaped so you can have a barbecue without being on top of the pool. I noticed how calm it feels out by the gazebo. Someone could be swimming or reading and nobody interrupts anyone's peace. There is also a sizeable driveway and a garage just out of sight so if you like things uncluttered you will appreciate that.
Living in Orange Lake at Jumeirah Golf Estates comes with a certain pace. Mornings here start with birdsong and the evenings often end with that sunset over the water that never really gets old. The area itself is secure and feels established. Plus the golf course brings in just enough energy but not the busy kind. There is a nearby coffee shop if you fancy morning walks and the community is gated so you always feel that bit more comfortable letting the kids play outside.
This place is more than property details or materials or flashy selling points. It is a real family home. It is not perfect but it does not need to be. You will feel it when you walk through. If it feels right you will know. If you want to ask anything or maybe just take a slow tour on a weekend let me know. At LuxuryProperty.com we like taking the time to help you find your right fit.
