Some places just make you slow down a bit as soon as you walk in. That is what I felt with this four bedroom villa at Al Habtoor Polo Resort and Club The Residences out in Dubai Land. There is something about being able to look out over the polo fields every day that just feels special. Honestly it does not feel like your typical Dubai rental the whole atmosphere is a little more peaceful and you kind of hear the horses before you even notice all the green space.

Walking up to the villa you can tell right away it has been well cared for the garden looks tidy and the pool at the back just pulls you in. I actually ended up standing on the terrace for a while one afternoon and you could hear a few people out riding plus there were kids playing under the trees on the weekends. The villa itself is unfurnished which I actually quite like because it lets you imagine your own furniture your own style in each space. It is not staged to feel like a hotel room it just feels open.

The living room is bigger than it looks in pictures and it has these great floor to ceiling windows so the sunlight comes in from the polo fields. There is a formal dining area just off to the side but it does not feel separated the way some villas do. If you want you can really open the space up for one big living and dining area or keep it a little more private with the sliding doors. I can see someone hosting weekend dinners in here or just having a quiet evening with the windows open.

The kitchen is one of those places that feels made for actually cooking not just for show. It is modern of course loads of good quality appliances and enough space so everyone is not cramped when you are making breakfast or coffee. There is a breakfast counter too which makes mornings a bit more social. One thing I noticed is that the kitchen connects easily to everything so you are never cut off from the action in the rest of the house.

Downstairs you get a proper guest bedroom with its own bathroom so nobody is squeezing into spaces that do not fit. It just feels comfortable. Upstairs is where most of the bedrooms are and honestly each room feels bright and private even the smaller ones. They all have their own balcony I could see reading out there early in the morning or just watching the sunset over the polo fields. The master bedroom has one of those walk in closets you always wish for plus the bathroom feels bigger than most I have seen. There is another bedroom with a walk in closet too so if you have teenagers or just someone with way too many clothes storage is not a problem here.

The outside of the villa might be my favorite part. You step out the back into a private garden that looks out over the fields and it just feels refreshing. There is a built in BBQ setup which is perfect for those winter evenings when everyone wants to be outside and the pool stays at a comfortable temperature so you can actually use it all year around. Weekend mornings here are pretty quiet except for maybe the distant sound of horses or maybe someone learning to ride over at the academy. There is a putting green nearby so if you are into golf you do not have to go far. The community itself is very friendly a bit tucked away so you do not get all the city noise but everything like shops and coffee places are only a short drive off Emirates Road.

Another thing you will notice is that Al Habtoor Polo Resort and Club often feels busy with life but never crowded. During polo season it gets a bit lively and there are always events or good food at one of the signature restaurants but the villa itself always stays calm. Evenings are especially nice with cool air and sometimes you see neighbors walking their dogs or kids biking in the dusk.
