Some places just feel right even before you walk all the way in. That is how it was for me with this three bedroom townhouse in Claret at Akoya by Damac Hills 2. I stepped in one morning, and straight away that sunshine spills everywhere. The living room is the kind where you just want to open the curtains and let the day in. It feels easy in here. I actually paused for a bit by those big glass doors at the back and just watched the light on the tiles. There is something laid back about how the whole living and dining space connects. The ground floor is open so you can talk to someone making coffee in the kitchen without ever having to raise your voice.
The kitchen is tucked away but honestly has all the space you would need. A lot of these homes have a kitchen that just looks good in photos, but this one feels like somewhere you would actually want to cook on a Sunday afternoon. Cabinets just the right shade of white, good storage, and there is room for everything from an espresso machine to a blender. You might find yourself pacing between dinner prep and the garden. Those sliding glass doors at the back really do bring the outside in. If you like a bit of green or just want to let the kids run wild in the yard, it just works. Plus the backyard is one of those blank canvases, so you can picture a couple of sun loungers or maybe a trampoline if you feel like it.
Walking upstairs, you get three bedrooms that do not feel like they are pressed up against each other. Storage is already built in so you are not fighting with wardrobes, and each room comes with its own little retreat—en suite bathrooms that are private and surprisingly spacious. The master bedroom just stands out. The ensuite is actually more stylish than you would expect at this price. The balcony off the main bedroom overlooks the neighborhood with views of Claret that remind you this is really a calm spot, even though there is so much going on nearby.
Being in Damac Hills 2 means you get all those little extras. The community has made a name for itself by making sure there is always something to do. Sometimes you see neighbors jogging early or kids riding bikes down the quiet paths. Claret just sits tucked away enough for privacy but not far from the action. On weekends, you will notice families heading to Water Town with its lazy river, or maybe Sports Town if you are up for tennis. Every corner seems to have its own atmosphere, which is what makes living here actually fun. I have met people who moved in thinking it would be a stopgap and then just never left. It is got everything from daily groceries to a relaxed coffee place. Honestly, once you drive in through the Akoya entrance you can forget the outside rush even exists for a while.
Sometimes I get questions about things like plot area or square footage. For anyone who really wants to know, the built up area is one thousand eight hundred thirty, and whole plot just a touch more at one thousand eight hundred eighty one. But what you feel day to day is that the house is roomy and not hard to keep clean. Kids can play and adults will find a quiet corner for reading or work. The garden is ready for the next owner's imagination.
I always think the best way to know if a place is your kind of place is just to see it yourself. Photos and these words do not really capture things like how the light feels in the afternoon or the quiet of the street after dark.
