Some homes welcome you with a kind of quiet. This three bedroom apartment in Zahra Apartments, right in Dubai Town Square, does that easily. I stopped for a second as soon as I walked in and just let that feeling settle. You notice straight off that everything has its own space. Bedrooms to one side. Living to the other. It is not one of those layouts that makes you feel like you are in a hallway all day. It's the kind of place where you can close the door and actually get a good night sleep and not feel like you are missing out on all the light and openness in the living room.
Truthfully the living area just feels open and relaxed. There is this neutral colour thing going on that makes it feel clean and calm without being cold. The windows are huge. Floor to ceiling glass that actually brings the green of the courtyards inside. I spent a little time just standing at the balcony door watching how the light shifts over the park. If you like a cup of coffee in the morning with a bit of peace you will probably spend most days out on that balcony. Sometimes you catch a glimpse of kids on bikes or people out walking their dogs as the city starts to wake up.
The kitchen is one of those open plan styles that is actually usable. I can imagine real dinners happening here not just takeout. Good surfaces. You can see your friends hanging out in the living room while you cook. The tiles everywhere are smooth underfoot which is a small thing that starts to matter if you kick off your shoes a lot like I do.
Every bedroom is bigger than you expect with big windows so the afternoon sun makes them feel lived in. Built in wardrobes everywhere so you do not have to worry about dragging in clunky storage. The master bedroom though is on another level. You get a walk in closet which is always the thing that makes a home feel grown up. The bathroom off the master is actually comfortable not just a squeeze with fancy tapware and a double vanity so there is no fighting over the sink in the morning rush.
Zahra Apartments is set inside some of the nicest landscaping in Town Square. I lost a little time wandering along the walkways surrounded by green. Residents get a courtyard that makes you want to be outside more often. There is a really inviting pool with plenty of room for loungers if you are the type who could spend all afternoon in the sun. There is a gym that is full of light and not cluttered so it does not feel like a basement workout. Kids get their own play space as well which tends to mean everyone actually gets some peace.
Town Square itself is buzzing these days. Anywhere you walk you are close to cafes little shops and even some surprisingly good bakeries. I grabbed a coffee on the way out and it made me think you would not ever really feel stuck at home here. The park at Town Square is right there and it comes alive in the evenings. You see joggers and families and a few cyclists racing the sunset. Vida hosts events so sometimes there is music or a bit of art to see if you want more than your usual routine.
This address is not just about the apartment but the way the whole neighborhood makes things easy. The main roads Al Qudra and Emirates Road are both close which keeps everything connected. Whether you are going to work or taking a weekend break you are never far from anything important.
It is never quite the same talking about a space as standing inside one. So if you want to see if Zahra Apartments inside Town Square Dubai feels right in person just let me know.
