Some apartments just make you slow down for a second and actually look around. This one bedroom at Azizi Riviera 26 in Meydan One really does that. The first time I saw it, I walked over to the window and, honestly, just sort of watched the city for a bit. There is something calm about a spot where you can see the Meydan Hotel, the Racecourse, glimpses of Downtown and also the canal winding off in the distance. You even catch just a bit of the Dubai Creek way out past the skyline. It is a pretty great view to wake up to. Sometimes you almost forget you are right in the middle of Dubai.
The space is built for easy living. You notice right away it is not just another cookie cutter apartment. It feels sharp and modern but there is a softness because of all the green you see outside and the way the light falls in. I know sometimes people worry about smaller one bedroom places feeling boxed in but this one does not. The layout just makes sense with the living area giving you room to relax or work if you need a home office corner. If you cook for real you will like the kitchen. It is not just for show. Cabinet space is actually usable and you can set up a proper meal if you want to have a friend or two over. Sometimes I see people bring coffees up from the café downstairs to the little dining nook. The café is never far but actually it is more of a community vibe than a busy lobby situation.
Life here sort of happens at your own pace. Some mornings you see people jogging along the running track that loops around the whole area. Evenings, there are families walking or people cycling. And, every so often, you hear kids laughing as they bike right past the front. The pool always seems to get a bit of sun and the yoga space is just set up for people to really spread out and breathe. On the weekends, I have noticed some residents grilling on the rooftop or down by the communal BBQ. It is easy to bump into a neighbor for a quick chat about the latest Netflix shows or maybe about which new shop has opened in Meydan Mall. The mall itself has a bit of everything—sometimes people go just to watch the dancing fountains or catch a movie on a lazy Sunday.
If you think about practical day to day stuff, this spot is actually pretty convenient. Public transport is sorted so you can hop over to Downtown Dubai or Business Bay pretty quick. For people with kids, there are a couple of really solid international schools nearby. Even if you just like knowing you can get around the city without much stress, it feels like nothing here is ever too far away.
Some of the most interesting parts about living at Azizi Riviera are what is still to come. There is supposed to be the world's longest indoor ski slope at the nearby Meydan Mall soon. Even now, it already feels like a little city of its own with jogging routes and cafes and people from everywhere. It is modern but still relaxed. Actually, you notice people tend to hang out in the communal lounge in the evenings just to unwind. Sometimes they do movie nights if someone brings popcorn.
I would say for a one bedroom in Dubai, this one just offers a really good balance of view, comfort, and little lifestyle touches. Payment is pretty flexible which helps if you are planning things out. It feels like a good pick for someone wanting to make a proper home or just invest in a spot that has some real life around it.
