Two-Bed Apartment at La Voile

Some homes really surprise you with how easy they feel. This two bedroom apartment at La Voile in Port de La Mer, right by the beach in Jumeirah, honestly just makes you slow down. I'm always struck first by the brightness. Even if you're just coming in for a quick look, the light that pours across the living and dining area kind of draws you further in. The smaller bedroom has a built in wardrobe which is handy for stashing away the things you do not want to look at and the master bedroom honestly feels like a small retreat. I really like how the balcony sits right off the living room. I spent a few minutes out there listening to the sound of the sea and watching people walk along the waterfront boulevard. The area has its own charm. The shops and cafés along the boulevard feel a bit local. Sometimes you see families out for an evening stroll or someone just reading at one of the outdoor tables. When you want to head out it is only a short drive into central Dubai so you are never far from where you need to be.

I would not call this place flashy but it is quietly special. It is the sort of apartment where the everyday things just feel a little better.
