Some places just have the feeling of a holiday even when you are thinking about daily life. This four bedroom apartment right on the Promenade de la Croisette in Cannes feels exactly like that. When you first walk in you get the sweep of the Mediterranean through those tall windows. It somehow makes you want to stand a while just to watch the water. The palm trees are out front and there is always something happening along the Croisette whether it is people walking slowly in the evenings or cyclists heading by as the sun goes down. The mountains in the distance have that hazy French Riviera look. Sometimes there are even little boats bobbing along.
Inside you can sense straight away that everything has been completely renovated. Nothing feels tired and nothing feels too shiny. The living room is big enough for actual family days or friends dropping by. I sat down just to check if it would feel crowded with a group and honestly there is enough space to stretch out together. The dining area sits right within the open plan setup so you are never cut off from each other if you are having a slow breakfast or even just coffee with the breeze coming in. You get a terrace that looks straight out to the sea and honestly it feels like you could eat almost every meal out there. Even on cooler evenings you might just want to put on a sweater and enjoy the fresh salt air.
The kitchen is not just for show which I like. The central island is actually big enough for prep and maybe even homework or a glass of wine while you cook. There is a utility room that is just tucked away so you are never tripping over laundry or groceries. Sometimes you find places that have these beautiful kitchens you never use but here it just feels easy. The smart home system is all fitted already and it does take your mind off little things like lighting and temperature. You tap something once and get back to your evening.
Each bedroom has its own bathroom or shower which makes it really practical. There is nothing quite like everyone getting ready for dinner in their own time and not lining up in the hallway. I checked the wardrobes and there is enough space for real life storage not only weekend luggage. The whole place gets lots of light with big windows. The main bedroom especially has views that are hard to forget mornings just begin in a different way when you open the curtains and see the yachts moving on the water.
Security is sorted and there is even a concierge so someone is always on hand if you need a hand with bookings or even just a parcel. You have your own garage underground so you are not hunting for a space which really matters in Cannes. Plus an extra storage spot which turns out to be super helpful when you come and go for the season or want to stash away beach stuff.
The actual location could not be more Cannes. You walk outside and the best boutiques are within reach and you are about two minutes to some of the most talked about restaurants. The Palais des Festivals is just a short drive so for anyone who loves the film festival scene or the buzz in spring you can be there in minutes. It is lively in summer and still peaceful when the city slows down a bit. Kids bike along the sidewalk in the afternoons and sometimes you hardly notice how close you are to everything.
This place really works as a family home or a base for long weekends and holidays on the French Riviera. The only real way to decide is to come and see how it feels to you. If you have questions about the space or just want to take a look feel free to reach out any time. At LuxuryProperty.com we want moving home to feel like the best part of your year not just a chore.
