When I checked it out the Arabian Gulf was just this soft blue in the afternoon and there was a tiny breeze coming through if you opened the windows a bit. The Queen Elizabeth II and The Dubai Mall by the Sea are both a few minutes off by car and you can get to the rest of Dubai pretty simply, the road network is direct and not too confusing which makes life easier. And yes there is your own parking spot right downstairs so no wasted time circling the block.
