Some homes just kind of make you pause for a minute when you arrive. This is one of those. I remember walking into this four bedroom duplex in 23 Marina Tower and before I could even think about the city or what I had planned later on, I just looked out over that view. You see golf greens and city lights all at once. Sometimes there are even birds swooping below your window and honestly, you are so high up it almost does not feel real. You start to lose that busy Dubai Marina feeling and it is just quiet and bright and open in here. Every room gets a huge wash of light thanks to the floor to ceiling glass. No matter where you stand in the living room you catch sight of the skyline or the rolling greens of Emirates Golf Club or the water over Dubai Marina. The space is big but it is the kind of big that feels easy, like you would not have to fill every corner for it to feel like home. The marble floors are that type of white that almost seem to glow in the afternoon. It kind of pulls every bit of daylight inside and you can tell evenings would be gentle in here with all the city lights sparkling below.
If you actually enjoy being in the kitchen, not just heating up something fast, this one just works. The cupboards are real wood and have that solid feeling and all the fittings are by Siemens, which means they look sharp but you will not be fighting with the oven or anything. I honestly stood at the counter and pictured a late breakfast while everyone else is still asleep. And the thing is, you are not boxed off. The kitchen and living areas just run together. You get to talk and cook and have people wandering in or out onto those wide terraces, no squeaky doors or barriers. There is plenty of room here and nothing feels cramped at all.
Downstairs, one thing I really liked is that the guest room does not feel like an afterthought. It faces the golf course, windows on one side, and the closets walk right in. The bathroom is actually spacious, so if you have friends or family over, they really get a comfortable spot. Getting up to the next level is your choice — there is a proper staircase and also a private lift right inside the apartment. Sometimes you just want the option.
The main bedroom upstairs is a bit of a hideaway. You have those sweeping Dubai Marina views and the windows are huge so nothing blocks your sight. The wardrobes go straight through and there is room to actually get ready at your own pace, not squeezed in. The bathroom is right out of a hotel. You may want to linger. And there is still a landing space up here — right now it feels like a true family spot. Could be a second living area, or maybe a study if you work from home. And then there is that extra room, which is being used as a prayer room now, but it is big enough to be whatever you need. Home office, playroom, even a proper third or fourth bedroom if you want. Each bathroom here looks and feels properly finished, not like they rushed anything.
You will notice, even though you are right in Dubai Marina, there is a sense of calm in this part of 23 Marina. There are times you hear more of the wind than the street. The lifts are fast so coming and going is never a pain. You have shops and cafes within a short walk so morning coffee or evenings out are always pretty easy. Kids sometimes ride scooters in the plaza out front. Parking is sorted.
The building itself stands out on the skyline, of course. This is one of the tallest residential towers anywhere and the security is always on top of things but not in your face. You are not just buying an apartment here, it is kind of a lifestyle. And when you are sitting out on your terrace high above it all, you do actually forget your phone for a while.
