Boulevard Point Apartment - A Vibrant Lifestyle in Downtown Dubai

Sometimes you walk into a building in Downtown Dubai and it just feels like things are going to be easy. Everybody talks about the buzz here but when I first visited Boulevard Point, I actually got a bit of both calm and energy. Before anything else, it is that view you get right when you step near the windows. I stood there for a little while and honestly you get this full sweep of Downtown Dubai right in front of you. You can see Burj Khalifa off to the side and that little slice of Burj Lake just peeking through. There are always little things happening below in the city if you look closely. It is never boring.

Boulevard Point is one of those places that makes life simple without even trying too hard. You have this really comfortable studio apartment, and the layout is open but somehow still feels cosy. You will notice the floor to ceiling windows let in plenty of light in the mornings. I have visited at different times, and there is always something changing with how the light moves across the space. Sometimes you find yourself drifting off just sitting on the couch looking out. You do not hear too much city noise either, even though you are so central.

The kitchen is designed for people actually planning to cook—lots of counter space, and the cupboards are easy to reach. Even if you are just making a late night snack it works. And the thing is, if you ever feel like letting someone else do the cooking, you are about two minutes away from every type of food you can think of. The restaurants in the Dubai Mall are always changing, so there is something new to try every time.

A lot of people ask about amenities. Here you get a really decent gym with actual weights and not just a couple of machines stuck in a corner. The pool is where you can hang out and sometimes you notice families with kids enjoying their own little section. There is also a squash court if you want to get a bit competitive, and some people use the lounge just for a quiet coffee in the afternoon. It is easy to make friends here actually, or just keep to yourself if you want peace.

You are basically linked directly to Dubai Mall through a covered bridge. I have walked it myself, and on hot afternoons you will be glad it is there. Souk Al Bahar is also very close and sometimes you get these evenings where the cafes spill out onto the walkways. The shops are open late and even after living here a while you keep finding new corners to check out. Some Saturday mornings you see people heading over to the Dubai Opera, or just picking up coffee at the corner place that somehow always remembers your order after a week.

For anyone who has to go to meetings, Boulevard Point is in one of the best spots for walking to Emaar Square or Boulevard Plaza. If you work in the area, you can actually leave your car parked most days. That never really gets old in Dubai.

I have noticed the vibe is a little different from some other spots downtown. Maybe it is the mix of people living here, or just how everything is set up. It is also the kind of home that works if you want to go out a lot, but it makes staying in feel special too. Even on a quiet Wednesday, you might see a few kids riding their bikes outside or just hear the water feature in the background as people head home.
