Burj Khalifa, Burj Khalifa Area, Downtown Dubai, Dubai

Sometimes you step into a place and the city all around just falls away a bit. That is honestly what happened to me when I checked out this two bedroom apartment right in the Burj Khalifa Area of Downtown Dubai. You kind of sense the buzz of the boulevard and the sweep of the sea even before you even get to the windows. I stood there for a while looking out and it is really something else. The view just keeps going. Sometimes you catch a bit of sailboat movement far off and then glance down at the steady stream of city people right below. It is never boring and feels pretty alive but somehow peaceful.

Inside, the space feels almost calm, even though you are literally in the center of everything. The apartment is a good size, about fifteen hundred and forty five square feet, but nothing feels cold or echoey. The layout kind of flows together rather than being cut off room by room. You walk in and there is this great openness between the main living and dining space. The floors are these deep hardwoods that make it feel classic, but then you hit the kitchen and it lightens up a bit, with lighter tiles that keep things easy. The kitchen actually feels like somewhere you would want to cook a proper meal rather than just warm something in the microwave. I bumped into another resident on the elevator who mentioned he keeps it simple but loves getting fresh bread from the bakery downstairs. You do not actually have to go far for anything, honestly.

This apartment is unfurnished, so you get to make it your own. Picture a soft sofa near the glass, or maybe some plants in the corners, and everything starts to click. There is enough space for both privacy and having people over without any tight squeezes. You will probably notice the two bedrooms are set apart just right, so everyone can have a little pocket of their own, if that makes sense. Closets are easy to use and not overdone, so you do not have to hunt for storage by buying extra shelves.

There is something about the quiet in here. Maybe it is the way the windows are built or just the height of the building, but city sound does not really sneak in. Even though the Burj Khalifa is this landmark with so much going on, once you are inside your space you really feel somewhere else.

Downstairs and around the building, you will see little clusters of people at cafes or walking with shopping bags from the mall close by. Some mornings there is a buzz from folks heading to work in the business towers, and every so often you get these views of kids racing on scooters outside. The club inside Burj Khalifa? It is pretty unique. There is a private pool for residents, plus squash and tennis rooms that always seem to have a match going. I also poked my head into the spa once, and honestly, it seemed like one of those places where you could really switch off for a bit.

There is a business lounge up on the one hundred and twenty third floor that is just wild. You get top floor coffee with a view that sweeps right across Dubai, plus space to sit and catch up on emails or host a little meeting if you need to. The staff in the building do not really miss a beat, either. Concierge and valet are actually there day and night. You just never really need to worry about anything not working or something being forgotten.

This apartment really has all those Downtown Dubai perks like five minute coffee runs, fashion shopping almost at your doorstep, and probably some of the best evening walks anywhere. But the main thing I noticed is that sense of air and privacy you really do not get in most places this central.

If you want to get a real feel for it, best to come and have a look around. I am always here to answer questions or just chat through what it is actually like to live in the Burj Khalifa Area. The team at LuxuryProperty.com will make it as relaxed as possible from the first step. Come see if it feels right to you.
