I will be honest with you the first thing that caught my eye was the view. You hear the city quietly in the background but mostly it is the sound of the sea and the sort of light breeze you only get so close to the water.

This apartment is not huge but it is laid out really well. With around eight hundred sixty square feet it just feels really open. The living area gets so much sunlight especially in the morning. I actually just sat down on the couch for a bit and watched the sunlight creep across the floor. There is a communal room that sometimes people use for a quick remote work day or even to meet up with neighbors for a coffee. And the BBQ area gives off that little holiday feel even when it is just a normal Thursday.

What I also liked is how you can walk to Dubai Marina in under ten minutes. The beach is always there and you get direct access just steps from the building. Plus Sheikh Zayed Road is never far so you are not stuck feeling cut off. Shops and cafes pop up close by and if you head out early you can grab a chai and watch the surf with a few other locals. Sometimes I spot kids biking around in the evenings too. There is actually a small community feel even with all the newness here.
