1. PM Fish & Steakhouse
A quaint ‘Surf n Turf restaurant made to look like a rustic Argentinian farmhouse, patrons here are welcomed with a cozy and warm vibe. It serves charcoal broiled prime quality cuts, with tasty, traditional Argentinian seafood dishes. The catch of the day is definitely recommended, although the selection of sizzling meats is also a clear standout. Deciding between the two may be a challenge, so why not order both?
2. Christy’s Restaurant
Here you get to receive an elegant fine dining experience that provides good value for money without compromising on outstanding quality. While classic Cuban art lines the walls of the intimate dining rooms, their filet mignon and their famous Caesar salad is what takes center focus. Christy’s Restaurant is perfect for celebrating special occasions, especially when topped off with the Baked Alaska that is flamed tableside, ending the night with a touch of flare.
3. Edge Steak & Bar
Simple, yet classy, the Edge offers seasonal menus that deliver a farm to table experience. The produce is locally sourced, with the amazing steaks all coming from grass-fed, natural beef. Located in the Four Seasons, which has been built in the Art Deco style Miami is famous for. What tops this restaurant off is the lovely garden and outdoor patio area, the perfect place to relax after a long work week.
4. RED South Beach
This iconic restaurant located in the trendy South of Fifth neighbourhood has made a name for itself for one good reason. It serves perfect, classic steaks made from Certified Angus Beef Prime. The stellar food has led it to be voted one of the Ten Best Steakhouses in America and after just a few bites you will certainly see why. Whilst any meal here is a treat, if you are really looking to be spoiled, their ‘decadent’ Sunday Brunch is a must.
5. Prime One Twelve
Who loves free bacon? While waiting for your seat here, you get to help yourself to as much free bacon as you like. With that being said, the best thing about the restaurant is undoubtedly the meat, with only the best of the best being served, flown in from New York and Australia. Keep your eye out for familiar faces, as this place is often frequented by the rich and famous.
6. Smith & Wollensky South Pointe Park
Who would have thought that a chain restaurant would be able to consistently deliver quality and excellence. With that being said, after tasting the food here, it is no wonder that they wanted to replicate it for other meat eaters to enjoy. The Smith & Wollensky offers a high end atmosphere that oozes with class. The establishment is located directly on the waterfront, offering beautiful oceanfront views.
7. Michael Mina Bourbon Steak
Whilst it is a little bit of a trip from Downtown, this steakhouse in Aventura, is well worth the journey. The trendy, designer setting, with a bold atmosphere, matches the daring menu from Michelin starred chef, Michael Mina. The signature dish is the all natural, butter poached steaks and of course the amazing duck fat fries.
8. Fioriti
Simple and down to earth, this little Argentinian steakhouse lacks the pretentiousness that many modern steakhouses now have. This hidden gem, tucked away in Little Haiti, serves up classic, Argentinian fare, including spectacular cuts of meat and juicy steaks. The best part, it all comes at very affordable prices.
