About Abeer Kibria
Abeer Kibria’s story in Dubai goes way back, to 1996, when the city felt so much smaller and slower than it does now. It’s funny to think about how different everything was — fewer tall buildings, less noise. She grew up around all that change because her family worked in architectural glazing. So, instead of just seeing buildings, she saw the plans and pieces before they became real. She remembers sitting at home with drawings spread out on the table, then months later driving by the same place and seeing it rise up. It’s a kind of connection that sticks with you.
Before stepping into real estate, she spent time working in luxury fashion. There, she had to look closely at every little detail to make sure designer pieces were real. Later, she helped train sales teams at a big property developer. That taught her that selling isn’t just about pushing something. It’s about listening — really listening — to what someone needs and wants, even when they’re not saying it outright.
Nowadays, Abeer focuses on Meydan. She loves the balance the community offers — plenty of green space and quiet streets but still close enough to Downtown that you don’t feel cut off. She knows where the villas get the best light in the evenings and which spots are calm after dark. Those are the little things you notice only when you spend a lot of time walking the area.
When working with clients, she keeps it real. No rushing, no pretending a home is perfect when it’s not. She moves things along but always at the client’s pace, understanding that some people decide fast and others need more time — and that’s perfectly fine.
Outside of work, Abeer likes dancing, trying out new restaurants, and wandering into little art galleries or quiet corners of the city most people don’t know about. That same spirit of curiosity and discovery is part of how she works. Finding the right home, after all, is a bit like exploring until something feels just right.
