That is exactly what happened when I stepped inside this two bedroom apartment in DAMAC Heights, right in the heart of Dubai Marina. There is this light that pours in from the huge windows and it changed my whole mood. And really it is the views that catch you off guard at first. You look one way and the full marina seems to curve around you. Look the other way and it is the Palm, almost close enough you feel like you could swim there. You have parking and there is always a taxi or car waiting just outside. Once you step outside the building everything is close. The promenade is just there so even if you want a simple walk in the evening or coffee by the water it is never far. I see people grabbing groceries or just chatting at the corner most days. Sometimes you even see friends meeting up with their bikes or kids running alongside the marina. The restaurants and shops are close, but it never feels too busy up in the apartment.
