The Burj Khalifa is almost always in sight so you get that daily reminder of where you are. You will find small cafés and restaurants just downstairs or around the corner and there are locals who tend to gather in the evenings or meet up at one of the shaded benches. The building itself is well known for being well maintained and security is always on hand so even if you finish late you feel okay walking in at night. Residents also have access to a pool and a gym that is proper not just a few machines stuffed in a room. 

The place is vacant now so you do not need to wait around to move in. Covered parking is sorted so no worrying about your car in the sun. I actually met a neighbor on the lift who said they have stayed for years which sort of says something about the place. 

The thing with Downtown is sometimes you pay for the name but miss out on comfort or usable space. Here you get both and the rooms actually feel lived in not just staged for photos.
