If you are into fitness, you are close to running tracks and outdoor gyms just steps away. The championship golf course is right in the neighbourhood if that is your thing. Not everyone talks about it, but the golf clubhouse has some of the best restaurants in the area. I sometimes find myself stopping by Hillhouse Brasserie after viewings even if I am not playing a round. And The Duck Hook is always friendly. There are pools for those hotter days, and the park is more lively on weekends. If you ever need something more bustling, Dubai Hills Mall is right on your doorstep.

The schools and medical facilities nearby take a lot of the stress out for families, with places like King's College Hospital and well known international schools within minutes. Getting around the city is actually easy with this location. Usually it takes me less than fifteen minutes to reach Downtown or Dubai Marina, even less sometimes depending on how the roads are looking. Both airports are under half an hour on a normal day, so if you travel a lot or have visitors it is a real plus. The coffee places around are not bad either and sometimes you just notice kids biking or people out with their dogs in the park in the late afternoon. It feels like a real, growing neighbourhood.
