Some homes have this calm energy the minute you walk into them. I got that feeling right away the first time I visited these three bedroom corner residences at The Ritz Carlton, Amman. Maybe it is the way the light drifts over the city through all those big windows or just the quiet in the air even when you are right above one of the liveliest neighborhoods. It is the kind of place where you do not rush. I found myself taking a slow lap around the living room just soaking up the view of Amman outside. You can hear the city sometimes but mostly it feels like your own private space above it all.
There is a sense of real care in the details here. You will notice little things like the Poggenpohl kitchen. I touched the cabinets and they feel solid. The Miele appliances are built in and honestly they are the sort of thing you want to use, not just show off. If you like to cook, or just want to make an easy morning coffee, it feels right. The bathrooms too, with Villeroy and Boch fittings, are where you might want to just stand at the sink and pause for a beat. Master baths have Dornbracht and Lefroy Brooks fixtures. There is something about turning a perfectly balanced handle and getting just the right water temperature. Maybe it is a small thing but honestly you will notice how nice it feels after a long day.
Three bedrooms here do not mean just more rooms. Each one looks out over the city skyline and somehow they all feel slightly different. Elegant but not stuffy. With Listone Giordano flooring underfoot and those Poliform wardrobes that actually make getting dressed in the morning feel a little special. And yes, you get the Crestron smart home system for lighting and controlling the Daikin VRV air conditioning so the temperature is always how you want it whatever the weather is like outside. Sometimes the sun hits a little too hard in Amman so being able to tweak it from your phone is just easy.
The building itself is one you will probably take a second look at even before you get out of the car. Twenty storeys high but it does not feel imposing. The outdoor spaces are actually comfortable to use too not just for looks. I stood at the entrance for a bit and saw how the staff smiled at everybody. It is a different feeling from most places. The Ritz Carlton service is really what everyone says it is. You get used to having things taken care of quickly. There is a concierge for anything you could really think of. Plus valet parking which always seems ready when you need it but invisible the rest of the time. The lobby feels almost a little like a quiet hotel lounge at dusk. Calm and welcoming after time out in busy Amman.
Living here, you do not really need to leave for a lot. I checked out the indoor pool once early in the morning and it was just me and the sound of the water. The gym has a good range and plenty of fresh towels. Saunas too if that is your thing. There is a beauty salon downstairs for the days you do not want to drive and a residents lounge where somebody always seems to be reading or catching up on their phone. Private cinema and games room are set up for nights in or actually just to keep the kids busy. Even the cinema seats look made for a proper movie night.
You also get outdoor hotel pool access which is probably nice when you want to feel that classic resort vibe without driving out of the city. On weekends I see families heading out to the nearby restaurants or you might spot children biking round in the early evening.
Honestly, places like this are hard to describe until you walk through for yourself. It is not loud luxury but you feel all the little comforts add up.
