Sometimes a place just kind of lets you breathe more deeply as soon as you walk in. That is the feeling I get every time I set foot in this four bedroom villa on Frond C of Garden Homes, Palm Jumeirah. Right away you get a sense of the space and the calm. I remember standing in the living room with the sunlight coming through these big windows and everything just kind of slowed down. You want to look around and find your own favourite spot.

This is not one of those places where you feel like you have to rush around tidying up every time someone visits. The living spaces spill into each other naturally and nothing feels forced. The views really sneak up on you too. From almost every part of the villa you can catch the water out there. Sometimes you just see a little glimmer moving behind the greenery in the garden. It makes even quiet mornings feel like you are on a bit of a holiday. Some people come to Palm Jumeirah hoping for that private beach dream and here you actually get it. Plus you do not hear much but the waves if you open up the windows in the evening.

This villa is spread out over a generous six thousand seven hundred square feet which sounds like just a number until you actually walk from one end to the other. You could throw a pretty nice birthday party for the kids here without ever worrying about space. The pool out back is big enough to actually swim in not just splash around. There is even a jacuzzi for the evenings when you want to look up at the stars for a bit longer. I have seen the garden in the afternoons too. Sometimes there are birds flying in from the sea and you do not get that everywhere in Dubai.

All four bedrooms feel comfortable and not too formal which is rare in homes like this. The closets are built in and the bathrooms are big enough that you could get ready for a party without tripping over anyone. There is a kind of natural flow here that makes family mornings just a little bit easier. You can still hear the coffee machine going while you are getting dressed upstairs.

This part of Palm Jumeirah feels private but you are never far from something happening. You have got Ella's Eatery close by for when you do not feel like cooking. Mezzerie is not far either if you want something a little fancy on the weekends. For families, the schools nearby are actually some of the best in Dubai. Places like Dubai College are within easy reach and you can do the drive without losing your mind in traffic.

Even if you just need groceries or a last minute birthday gift, everything is easy enough to get to. The healthcare options are close too which is actually one of those things you do not notice until you need it. You will also see kids biking along the streets in the evenings which adds a kind of lived in charm to the neighbourhood that is hard to explain unless you have seen it.

The villa itself is currently undergoing renovation so honestly the photos do not really show what it feels like now. Everything is going to look even fresher soon. Plus it is vacant so you do not have to wait around for anyone to move out. The parking is private and if you have pets you should know they are welcome here. That is rare to find in this part of Dubai.

The Arabian Gulf is really right there outside your garden. Sometimes you forget you are in a city at all. It just feels easy to be here. Waterfront homes on Palm Jumeirah do not come around every day especially ones with this kind of comfort and privacy.
