There is this feeling you get when you walk into certain homes where it kind of slows you down. I felt it when I visited this five bedroom villa in District One at Mohammed Bin Rashid City. The entrance is open and bright and honestly you feel miles away from the busy city even though Downtown Dubai is actually only a short drive if you ever need it. Some houses just pull you in and you find yourself thinking about what it would be like to stay for a while.
The living room feels like the spot where you could have family movie nights or just spend lazy mornings with coffee. There are huge windows and I stood there just watching sunlight moving across the floor for a bit. You get proper views of the community with all that green space and there is always a bit of breeze. It is quiet too but not in an empty way. More like a calming kind of quiet.
If you are someone who likes cooking or just appreciates a real kitchen then you will like this one. Everything is laid out in a way that just feels useful no big show kitchen here it actually works. There is space for all the gadgets you might have collected over the years and island in the middle where you can chat while making breakfast or maybe just sort out the kids' lunchboxes.
All five bedrooms are a proper size nobody gets the short straw in this villa. Each one has its own style but all of them get natural light which changes the feel throughout the day. The principal suite is bigger than some apartments I have seen and you can just walk out to a terrace for some air if you want to wake up slowly with a view. Closets are generous and bathrooms too feel like you can actually use them comfortably not just for show.
Outside is where the place really starts to work for day to day life. The garden is well kept but not too formal. You imagine a barbecue or a birthday party or just letting your pets run around. There is room for a pool if you ever want one in the future or maybe a little vegetable patch if you like that sort of thing. I see people running and biking around District One all the time so if you like getting outside it is easy here.
One thing I keep noticing in this area is how much it is made for living. The community itself is safe and pretty friendly. Sometimes you hear kids in the distance riding bikes or families heading down to the clubhouse. Coffee shops and groceries are close by and you can get to just about anywhere in Dubai in a short time even though it does not feel like you are in the middle of it all.
The built up area is just under nine thousand square feet which sounds huge and to be honest it feels big when you walk through but not in an overwhelming way. There are spaces to get together with everyone and pockets where you can be left alone for a while. It is this balance that makes it kind of unique.
The house is for sale at twenty one million dirhams which is pretty fair for the area and what you are getting. Honestly if you have been looking for that not too city not too far vibe then this is the kind of property you want to walk through in person.
You cannot really get the full picture from just reading. The only way to really know if it could fit your life is to come by and see for yourself.
