Some homes just have this fresh start feeling the second you walk in. Honestly, this two bedroom apartment at Burj Crown in Downtown Dubai is one of those places. It is hard to explain until you are there in person but I found myself actually slowing down as soon as I stepped inside. The way the city buzzes all around you, with the Burj Khalifa just an easy glance away, gives the place a real downtown Dubai vibe. Yet it is calm inside which I was not expecting. There is something about those floor to ceiling windows that makes the world outside look almost like a living painting. You get this nice constant light and sometimes I just found myself standing there, coffee in hand, watching the city move along. Even when you open the windows or slip outside onto the little balcony, you just get that sense of space and quiet with sea and pool views stretching out. In the evenings, you will probably end up outside just watching the city lights come alive. Some places make you feel like you always need to head out to relax but here you find comfort tucked right in the middle of Downtown.

The living room really feels lived in, not like a display. You could imagine having friends over or just crashing on the sofa after a long day. That layout is great because it never feels cramped and there is plenty of room whether you are on your own or entertaining a couple of friends. The kitchen is genuinely one of my favorite spots in the whole apartment. It just feels like someone thought about the everyday bits. From the high end appliances to just enough countertop to spread out on if you like cooking or baking on weekends. When you actually open the fridge, it is the kind of kitchen where you picture late night snacks ready to go or a chilled drink after work. You could do proper dinners here or just keep things low key if that is more your style.

The bedrooms both have these big windows and on weekend mornings you really notice the difference when you wake up to sunlight pouring in. There is actual space for your things, not that feeling where you end up stacking books and bags in the corners. It just works whether you are thinking of it as a main home or even a lock up and go kind of place. What surprised me most is how quiet it gets once you close the bedroom door, even though you are sitting in the middle of one of the busiest areas of the city. The bathrooms are just calming and you get enough storage so there is no need to hide your stuff away. Even with all the action of Downtown Dubai outside, you can actually unwind and just be at home.

If you ever want to be active, the gym is downstairs and honestly it looks like a gym people really use. The infinity pool feels like a vacation spot and a lot of mornings you see folks swimming laps or just relaxing beside the water. That rooftop has amazing views of the Burj Khalifa and sometimes people go up there just to snap a photo or read in the sunshine. There is a wellness center too so if you want a little extra pampering, it is all right at hand. The amenities really do get used and feel like part of your home not just for show. 

The community here at Burj Crown is just easy going. In the evenings you see kids playing or families gathered for lunch on the leisure deck, which is enough to make you feel settled. The BBQ space is actually popular on weekends. Plus, when you need to run errands or just head out for coffee, the Dubai Mall is so close you never have to plan ahead. Restaurants and cafes are always within reach and getting around Downtown Dubai just feels simple from here.

You get full sea and pool views, smart layout, and all of Downtown's best just around the corner. The price makes sense for this area of Dubai especially with such good payment options.
