Honestly, you just stop for a second and notice the light moving across smooth ceramic floors, the way the air feels cooler thanks to those high ceilings, and then you look out and that sea view sort of pulls you in. Some evenings you get those epic sunsets right through the windows. I caught myself just watching the sky for a while. People say “uninterrupted sea views” a lot but here it's really true. There is this huge soaking tub, his and hers sinks, and a big walk-in shower. The marble feels cool under your feet and there's always enough space for two people to get ready at once without bumping elbows. The second bedroom is also bright and comfortable, with built-in wardrobes and its own bathroom that feels every bit as nice as the main suite. These are spaces where you can really unwind, maybe leave the phone in another room, it just feels that calm.

One thing I really liked here is the terrace. You step out and immediately get hit by the sea breeze. There is space for a few chairs and even a good sized table if you want to have dinner outside. I can imagine mornings here with coffee, listening to the waves and sometimes birds, or evenings watching the sky change colors as the sun goes down. You never feel boxed in and privacy is something you get more of because of the way the building sits on the West Crescent.

The Balqis Residence is part of the Kingdom of Sheba community, which means you get access to a private beach, a great outdoor pool families use it all the time and a fitness center that's much better than you might expect for a residential spot. Some mornings there are people out for a run or just walking along the sand. Even the parking is simple here, just park and take the lift up. Everything feels easy and secure, so you never worry about anything once you're home. The area is always peaceful, plus if you want a coffee or need something from the shops, you are close enough to the Nakheel Mall but still away from the main crowds.
