Lavish 2-Bedroom Furnished Apartment in Downtown Dubai, Forte

Some apartments have this calm as soon as you step in. This one at Forte in Downtown Dubai just holds you for a second right by the door. Maybe it is the way the light pours in from those big windows in the living room and the bedrooms. I stood there and actually watched the sun move over the skyline for a bit. The city looks different from up here. Sometimes you see the sea too if you're looking just right. Even if you've been in Dubai for ages, you catch yourself noticing the view all over again. 

It is furnished, so you do not need to wait for sofas or beds to arrive—just bring your bags and maybe a few little things that make it yours. Everything is modern but not like a show home. I always look at kitchens because it kind of tells you how real the space is. Here you can actually see yourself cooking, not just warming up food. It feels easy to move around. If you like to have people over, the kitchen flows right into the living space which is honestly great for when you have friends drop in or family visits from out of town.

And because of the way they've set up the windows, mornings are something else. Sometimes I think you only realize you love a place when you wake up there. The main bathroom feels like you can actually relax after a long day instead of just rushing through it. 

Because this is Forte, you're getting all the building extras like a real gym that actually lets you get a workout in, not just a treadmill and some weights. Plus there's a big swimming pool with an outdoor terrace where people sometimes sit with a book or just chat in the evening. It feels social but not too busy. For families, there's a kids' play area that is used pretty often and it actually looks inviting. So if you have little ones, they'll probably end up making friends here before you even meet the neighbours. 

One of the best parts is being chiller free. That means your monthly bills are way easier than a lot of places in Dubai. Especially in the summer, this adds up and you don't need to keep checking the thermostat. The place is well maintained all round which just gives you one less thing to worry about.

Location does a lot of the work for this place too. You're close to Dubai Mall so shopping or grabbing dinner out is just a quick walk. There's all kinds of restaurants and little cafes nearby—there's even a couple of spots that do really good coffee in the mornings if that's your thing. And for days you want to stretch your legs, you've got Downtown right at your feet. Sometimes you see families heading out for an early walk, or the city just sort of waking up. At night, the fountains and lights can make you forget you're even home.
