There's a sense of privacy, even though you're in a pretty lively area. One day when I visited, I stood near the window just watching the marina, and almost forgot about checking my phone for a while. It just has that kind of effect. 

The amenities are right downstairs, so you'll notice residents heading for a swim or maybe squeezing in a quick workout after work. It is practical, nothing over the top, just a comfortable place to make your everyday life a bit smoother. The lobby actually feels welcoming, with staff who remember you after a week or two.
