This one bedroom apartment I visited at Marina Promenade in Dubai Marina definitely have this sense of calm that washes over you right at the door. Maybe it is the way the light pours in through those wide windows or how you can catch the gentle sparkle off the water down below. I actually stood at the window for a few minutes and just watched the yachts slipping by out in the marina. The views really are special here. You can look across the marina but just turn your head a bit and suddenly there is the sea stretching out. It does not matter what the weather is like, it always feels peaceful when you see the water.

This apartment is set up high in the building so you get even more sky and sometimes it is just quiet enough that you almost forget you are in the middle of Dubai Marina. Location is really one of the best things about living at Marina Promenade. Downstairs the promenade is always lively but never overdone. You can grab your morning coffee within about a minute of stepping out the lifts. Maybe that is why you often see people strolling here even in the evenings. There are shops and restaurants everywhere so dinner is never really a plan. You could get groceries or just pick up something quick without stepping into your car and heading across town.

The community here looks after you quite well too. There's a big swimming pool which is more chilled out than some of the others nearby so you actually get to enjoy the water and not just fight for space. The gym is always tidy and has what you need for a real workout. The barbeque area is one of those spots where people do gather for weekend lunches and every now and then you see kids biking along the paths or playing near the water.

Parking can be such a headache in Dubai but you get your own dedicated space here so that is taken care of. Transport links are all around if you are heading out, and honestly, sometimes you just want to stay put because everything feels close by.
